Hello everyone,

I just joined today and have been learning a bit about Steamgifts. I read that the contributor giveaway feature was announced several months ago, and was wondering if it is live yet? EDIT: I've found it, sorry about that. I somehow missed it in the FAQ.

As someone who is new here, a moderate focus on contributor giveaways would be a great idea in that it would encourage more people to contribute. If there were, say, giveaways for different tiers of contributions, the exclusivity would be worth it to myself and presumably a lot of people. It's not uncommon to own at least 100$ in games as it stands, especially considering all of the Steam sales.

Do you all think that a greater focus would be worthwhile in that it would make giveaways less saturated for contributors? Or, do you think that the system as it stands is better?

Ah, I missed that. Thanks for pointing it out - I'm actually quite fond of the implementation.

^this
And there some people who tries to exploit the system, boosting their contributor value with fake giveaways (those usually get banned) and free/exploited keys.
