Do you like pineapple on your pizza? 🍍 🍕
Thank you, but I'm certainly not nice and I am most definitely ugly

For online comics, I'd recommend this one if you liked old cartoons such as 'The Secret of Nimh':

I'm a fan of the art. :)

If you can emphasise feelings via music, try listening to some happy music to make you happy. Probably not your style but this is pretty happy and quite nostalgic if you remember 90 dance music: Happy music :D

Comics YAY! I know the expectation based on my avatar would be some Deadpool but I'm going a different route. I'll start with an easy one...you like The Man Who Laughs, Batman and dark gritty stuff...Gotham Central. Written by Man Who Laughs writer Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka (throughout the series some are written by one some are co-written by the pair). Lauhgs came out about half way through Gotham Central's run. The series is about the Gotham Police Department and has everything from street level crime to Mr Freeze and The Joker. Dark and Gritty this is.
And if you like that move on to the Ed Brubaker / Sean Phillips collaborations. Criminal is about...errr...criminals. Definitely Noir. Kinda takes the cliches of Crime stories...embraces them or turns them around depending on the story. Follow that with Incognito, Noir / Pulp. A super villain is in witness protection and decides to be a vigilante. Then comes Fatale, described as Lovecraftian Horror. Honestly that one wasn't really my bag. Next up is The Fade Out. A mystery Noir set in old hollywood. Currently they are working on Kill or Be Killed which is...something else.
And for a little more Brubaker (with art from Steve Epting) check out Velvet, it's 70's spy / espionage story...with a female James Bond. Then while you are checking out Brubaker / Epting stuff look into their Captain America. More quality spy / espionage stuff. Captain America: Winter Solider was based on his stuff.
I could go on, but I stuck to a theme...or I guess a writer. Also, he's a supervising producer and writer on HBO's Westworld So yeah, he's quality.

Comic books? Maybe Maus: A Survivor's Tale? It's about nazi concentration camps. But with animals! Depressing and kinda heartwarming.
I think i'll pass on your puzzle. It's probably easier to earn money to buy DOOM than solve this black horror..
