Well, you want this extension to modifiy steam website, so yes, it is kinda required.
For SIH, it asked for every site you visit, so it includes paypal, gmail, banks, as well, etc... it goes far beyond of just ignorance of cybersecurity, spyware or incompetence, that is cybercriminality.

It says it require data from store.steampowered.com. Now that I just read about some inventory helper require risky permission I'm paranoid.
Should I update? I use Firefox btw.
