I don't think it is advertisement if you're not associated with devs / publishers nor getting any form of revenue in return for it.

Alright, then I hope it's fine. I'm not a developer or anything else of the game.

How exactly is it a "cheap" replica of Pocket Tanks? ShellShock Live has way more weapons, way more features and better graphics and also it's online. It is based on Pocket Tanks, that's true, but I don't see ShellShock Live as a 1-to-1 replica of Pocket Tanks. I bought Pocket Tanks a long time ago and I must say that both games are different.

That's just like saying Terraria is a replica of Minecraft or Starbound being a replica of Terraria. It makes no sense.

well they are Scorched Earth clones, with some changes here and there. nevertheless i'll keep an eye on this one, hoping it's not P2w

A true classic.

Best part was loading the text file with your own quotes. :)

More than 1500 votes in one day, I think that's quite good.

You're giving the developer and the game a vote, not me! Also, I'm not desperate, the game is on greenlight since a few days and already has over 1500 votes, maybe over 2000 votes, so that's quite good. :P

At first I was hyped - "Pocket Tanks!", but then the feeling faded away. There is something wrong with the game and I have a bad feeling it will be about grinding and leveling rather than getting skilled. I'm also not sure who really needs 200 weapons...

Just like in the web-based version, you will probably want to get skilled to rarely miss shots. After you rarely miss shots, you will probably want to unlock all the achievements, weapons and content. You recieve EXP after each game and with that EXP you level up and unlock new content.

You can call that grinding, but as the game is made to play for one hour per day, I think that's quite fine. If you play it for more than one hour per day, you will probably get bored of it as the most you do aiming, shooting, killing and getting XP.

Maybe the Steam Version is going to be different with quests and so on. However it's going to feature tournaments and clans which probably is going to be fun.

It will be a P2W with microtransactions like the one i played in browser.

The browser version contains microtransactions, that's true. The Steam Version may not be free-to-play, that gets decided later. I think if it's not going to be free-to-play, there won't be microtransactions.

So, you decided to vouch for a jaded version of Scorched Earth with poor graphics and / or art direction? Cool story!

Ohh, look! A graphic whore!

You're right, because Scorched Earth had such amazing graphics itself and a game like this certainly requires them.
