Strange things happening in steam at least for me

yea, recently i've getting some random invites as well with pishing steam links

just report and block them. nothing much we can do about it

Same here. Did you clic the .png link? because i didn't but i want to know if it was a real picture of the items.

Even though not all private profiles are a definite indications for a scammer, a private profile adding you out of no where almost always is. I never accept an add from any private profiles, and I would encourage you to do the same - just don't bother. Many of those send phishing links and they are bots indeed, adding everyone - my guess is they currently do it via Steam groups - and sending one and the same thing. Nothing good will come out of it and you might get yourself a keylogger or something else nasty, essentially leading you to getting hijacked. If you opened some suspicious links recently, I'd suggest you to get a good full PC scan just in case.

why not block that function for new accounts or with low ranks ? is that really that hard to implement ? there is so many ways to fix it
