Honestly some times I will blacklist someone on mobile so I cant put a tag on them. Then later I forget why I did blacklist them. If I can't remember/figure out why, then I just take them off the list again.

I haven't removed anyone from my blacklist since i joined. I'm pretty tolerant, so if you are on there I had a good reason, I might not always remember why but I see it as a way to remove people I feel have done something I really don't like from my events. I think the real problem is people adding people to their blacklist too easily.

If the reason is no longer valid, why not?

I unblacklisted a few people because while cleaning my BL, I noticed I couldn't find unactivated wins or anything on their profiles, and forgot to write down a reason why I had blacklisted them (I usually maintain a list with reasons)

One example was this guy who made a few threads a while back, got angry at people, insulted them, and later said he was drunk - he had blacklisted me because we debated about his behavior (if I remember well). I blacklisted him back. Later, I realized he wasn't the ass I thought he was, and he had removed me from his blacklist, so I removed him from mine.

Also had this case of a guy who had me whitelisted, and then removed me and placed me on his BL (;_;)

tl;dr, yes, I unblacklist people.

Sometimes they're just momentarily been asses (and I can be too, I suppose)
Sometimes I just want to do some cleanup
Sometimes their profile is clean so I guess they eventually activated their wins

They probably figured out that it's hate speak to call banning someone blacklisting and did it to not get suspended by support.

Well, I unblacklist certain people because they've permanently suspended. :3

But I also unblacklist some people after a certain amount of time, when I feel that they've been punished long enough for any rule breaking they did

Edit: I just checked and it seems that I've lost 1 blacklist as well. Thank you, mysterious stranger.

I'm inconsistent and somewhat arbitrary.

Sometimes I get it into my head that I should be blacklisting for such and such a reason before changing my mind another day.
During brief periods of consistency someone could 'earn' their way off if the reasons no longer applied.

5 or 6 times now, I've completely cleared my blacklist for the hell of it. It's something I like to do every few months.

i think this might have been me. ^^ i recently cleared my blacklist, and i kind of remember your name (though, i could be totally wrong here). any idea why you were on the list in the first place? i don't remember. whatever the reason was, it expired for everyone on my list, and everyone gets a new chance.

Hmmm, I noticed yesterday that someone has unblacklisted me, so I unblacklisted him too. :P

I cant unblacklist people since i dont use that option. I feel left out for some reason now. Yes.

I actually got unblacklisted by 3-4 people this week. No idea why they blacklisted me in the first place or what made them remove me from it (I guess they realized I'm not a bad guy and that I'm nice and helpful more often than rude, now there's only 218 people left to realize the same).

I will blacklist you and unblacklist you just to make you wonder!
