Help with Steam Cloud

Anyone know how to change steam cloud files into local files?
Apparently I enabled steam cloud on Witcher 2 by accident, so I want to put all the save from the userdata folder to the gamesaves folder.

I think if it finds different data on your local system it asks you if you want to upload them or overwrite them with the cloud data.

The thing is, I tried that but it didnt work. All the saves stays in the cloud while my local data doesnt change.

Shouldn't local be the more recent version? Since Steam Cloud just synchronizes the local files

The files doesnt save in the local folder, but in the cloud folder. I cant just copy and paste the save either because for some reason the game only reads the cloud folder, even if I disable cloud.
