Hi, I have a Mac computer. I was wondering if Crossover ever goes on sale. Do you guys know?

Thanks!

Not what I was looking for. I'm talking about software that allows Windows applications on Mac.

You probably already considered/tried it, but why not just use boot camp? Nowadays they provide you with all the required drivers and it works just like a regular windows laptop.

Depends on the platform of your Mac too. M1 and M2 Macs don't support Bootcamp, but I don't think Crossover supports M1 and M2 either (correct me if it does).

Oh, that's a really good point I haven't considered. The job i'm at right now got me the latest Intel one, so I didn't experience the new generation yet

I'm on an Intel Mac at the moment. I would but it requires a Windows license, which I don't have.

It's listed for $20 now, is it discounted price already?
anyway, do you want to use it for gaming or something else?

You can also use Windows 10 or 11 in a virtual machine without activating (no paid license), for free forever. It will put a watermark on the desktop and won't let you set your wallpaper... But you can run programs like normal and use it forever.
