Quality Games Giveaways (QGG) Group [Recruitment Closed] - Next Special Game in December

Hello Captwookie,
1) Both the games you suggested gotten 0 entries when they were given away in our group, and as our rules say:

• New members first giveaway must have at least 20 entries when it's finished. Begging for entries is forbidden.

So both will not fit as a "new member giveaway"

2) Sorry, but there is no such exception. Our group rules require the following minimum from a game:

• Each giveaway must have 1,000+ reviews on Steam and 60%+ Steam rating OR 100+ reviews on Steam and 80%+ Steam rating. Games with 10,000+ reviews on Steam are allowed regardless of their steam rating.

There is no games that is wishlisted by a significant number of members and does not pass this criterion.

P.S.
There are now instructions on how to check entries of a game yourself (see bottom of post).

Please make sure you read all our rules.
For example:
GENERAL RULES
• At least Level 3 on SteamGifts
• If you're new to SteamGifts, you need to be a member for at least 3 months, and be a member of at least one other closed group (a group where you need approval to join)
• For users below level 5: User must have a positive Real CV ratio (Check ratio here) OR Positive SteamGifts won/sent ratio
• Clean slate at SteamRep (https://steamrep.com)
• Steam profile has to be public
• Multiple or unredeemed wins within the last year - are forbidden.
• You must try to keep a positive group ratio
• Do not blacklist other members
• Be nice and civil to other members (for instance, if you win, please say thanks to the poster)

it is a dynamic number which I change according to entry numbers of the previous month. The goal is to keep it in the top 20% of group giveaways. Originally it was 12, but it rose over time as the number of members grew. (It's much easier to get 12 entries for your GA from 100 group members, than from 50 members, for example).
We've had some departures last month, so I now updated it according to last month's stats, and it now stands at 16.

How to check how many entries a game received when it was given away in QGG:

1. Go to http://www.sgmt.name:8080/SGMT/CheckGameGiveawaysUI
2. Under “Group” choose from a dropdown: “Quality Games Giveaways”
3. Under “Name of the Game” write the full or partial name of a game
4. Optional: You can add “Start Date” if you only want to see GAs from last 3 months for example.
5. Click on “Get Giveaways Data” at the bottom

Hi, I see from your giveaway history that you have not given away many games that would pass our group rules.
Are you sure you will be able to create both a monthly GA (with even higher standards) and the "new member GA", if we accept you to our group?

I have some concerns I would like to discuss with you before we continue:

1. You do not seem to have been a group member on SteamGifts. Ever. Are you sure you're ready to join a group with a very large set of rules, and will be able to follow all of them?
2. You seem to have been not very active on SteamGifts. Most of your GAs are from 5 years ago. Some from 4-5 months ago. And only 1 from the last 3 months. Are you sure you want to be a group member of a group that has mandatory GAs every month?
3. We require a basic English level from all our members, to be able to communicate among ourselves and with the group Admins. How is your English?

1. From your answers I can see your English is very basic. Too basic to be able to properly communicate in our group. For example: I asked if you would be able to follow all our group rules, and you answered with: done.
2. You are not an active member of SteamGifts - You only have 1 giveaway in the last 3 months. Only 8 giveaways in the last 3 years. And only 12 giveaways total. We are looking for active SteamGifts members, who in addition to all their other giveaways will be able to have at least 1 giveaways per month in our group.
3. You never participated in group giveaways, and may not understand what it means to be a part of a SteamGifts rules (especially ones as strict as in our group).

Therefore I cannot accept you to our group at this point.

Yes, indeed we have 1 mandatory GAs per month.
In addition, if you need to be away from SteamGifts for a while, we have our "skipping a month" policies which allow you to not create a monthly GA as long as you're not active in the group (limited to a 6-month period at a time).

I really appreciate your enthusiasm, and you seem to have accomplished much since you joined only a month ago.
However, our rules stipulate that:
• If you're new to SteamGifts, you need to be a member for at least 3 months, and be a member of at least one other closed group (a group where you need approval to join)

If you're serious in your application - I would love to see you reapply in 2 months from now.

I have some concerns I would like to discuss with you before we continue:

1. Although you've been a SteamGifts member for a whooping 8 years, you seem to have been not very active on SteamGifts in that time. Most of your GAs are from 7 years ago. Some from 1 year ago. And only 2 are from the last year. Are you sure you want to be a group member of a group that has mandatory GAs every month?
2. Chroma Squad would not fit, as it got no entries when it was last given away in the group, and will likely not get any entries (let alone 16 you need on your first giveaway) if you give it out again.
