You can easily get banned by spamming / positing referral links.

But you could just ask.

Assuming its this account and not another one you made before I wouldnt worry too much about it... there isnt any identifying information in your profile (or really much of anything) and while it does link to your steam account it is private as well, not to mention it would have been impossible to find you if you didnt post this thread.

That being said asking them and waiting would be the most productive way to get rid of your account.
