Post a comment(/don't post at all) on the private giveaway, but don't post a comment in the thread. So they can have a better chance to win I imagine. :p

I look for certain usernames to avoid, post count doesn't matter.

If I don't have anything to add, which is often the case when a topic gets overloaded, then, yes, I skip repeating what others already said.

When it's something like suggestions and it's a huge thread I skip reading it and not post so I don't repeat someone on accident.

I comment when I feel like commenting. Or if what I'm commenting hasn't been said yet.

I tend to start writing a comment and then tell myself "ah screw it, no one cares about my opinion"
Ironically, i'm going to post this even though i thought the very same thing in this one.

But yes, if a Thread has already more than one page worth of comments, i rarely even think about replying.
