I mean is such a popular game, why does not humble make a bundle? They would get so much more money than the daily bundles?

PS I want to get dlc and buy game for friends birthday coming soon? Is traders good way to do it?

Guys, I was just joking. There was a giveaway here, I've removed it now.

the summer sale should start soonish in about 2 weeks or so, there is a good chance (if not 100% chance) Skyrim will be in some sort of sale, be it flash/daily/community choice sale (if it follows the usual format if I remember it correctly)

There's a 300% chance that it will be on a featured/daily sale. 300% because it will be there thrice like in every other sale after its release.

Bethesda games still sell like hotcakes during Steam sales. There's no point putting the games in a bundle when you are making far more by just having regular discounts.

EXPENSIVE????????? EXPENSIVE????????? EXPENSIVE????????? EXPENSIVE?????????EXPENSIVE????????? EXPENSIVE?????????

YOU KIDDING WITH ME RIGHT?

I LIVE IN BRASIL THIS GAME FULL IS LIKE U$80 FOR YOU, YOU WILL PAY ONLY U$ 40 DOLLAR AND SAY EXPENSIVE???????
F**** you

PS. Watchdogs Full IN BRAZIL IS LIKE U$150 =(almost 20% minimum wage) DOLLAR for you.

ps. minimum wage on BRAZIL IS LIKE U$ 700 DOLLAR

SO DONT SAY THE GAMES ARE EXPENSIVE, HERE WE HAVE TO PAY MUCH MORE AND WE HAVE LESS MONEY.

That's because in brazil you have shit laws and taxes for foreign products. It's not publisher, steam or game maker fault, enjoy nationalism.

yes you are right, but why he crying when the games are so cheap for him.... (i hate when americans say is expensive)

just look a GTX 760 here is about U$1000 Dollar for ppl in Usa is what? U$299 Dollar só you see diference.
we have to pay more 1 minimum wage for a gpu card, and the ps4 here is almost compared with gold PS4 in Brazil = U$ 4000 Dollar for Americans (only very rich ppl has one here)

I just can not understand how you claim both prices with electronic and digital things, they are very cheap for you.

are you using U for USD? at first I thought you were using it for a Brazilian Real so I was confused, but if you are converting your currency to USD then damn that sucks bro :/

Brazillian is R$

But i'm saying U$ = R$, without the conversion rate

Do need some cheese with your whine ?

Where I live the minimum wage is somewhere near $250 or 180 Euro, while the prices shown on Steam are translated into euros. I don't whine at all seeing games like Watch_Dogs being sold at 60 Euros.

Peace.

Just because it is MORE expensive for you doesn't make it feel less expensive for him. Your subjective position doesn't make his less valid. Just that it sucks for you even more.

I agree with you that buying imported goods in Brazil sucks. When I lived in Brazil (mid 90s) I was shocked at the prices for computers, consoles, and anything imported. Especially given the average salary. But I lived there during the change from cruzeiro to Real (and during the vote to stay a democracy or change to a monarchy), so before the R$ I could take advantage of exchange rates before the prices went up at the end of the month due to 30-40% monthly inflation.

That being said, I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could make american $$ and live there. The price difference in real-estate would make up the difference for games. (Or I could have people buy them for me in US and gift them to me, for any that aren't region locked, anyways.)

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

man PS4 is 4000 BRL. that is almost 1800 US dollar
1 BRL = 2,22 US dollar
but steam makes the converting rate to 1,75 in almost anything

like for Rust 20 us dollar, but 35 brl

Difference is the price of living. Rent here is normally around $900-$1200. Food per week is around $100 and bills are another $100+. Money is tight here too and $40 is a lot of money no matter how you look at it.

I paid around US$125 / month rent in Brazil for a pretty sweet house that had a guava tree and a limao tree. And a guy up the street had an avocado tree and gave away awesome avocados that are 3-4x the size you can find in the US.

So what? To US this is expensive, to YOU its cheap, its about value and what we feel its worth, all he is saying why buy X if he can get A,B,C,D,E,F,G for the price of X?

Why buy one overpriced game instead of a ton of decently priced or cheap ones.

Also turn off the rage, no need for that now...you seem mad at Brazil, not him or anyone getting games for cheaper then you.

If Bethesda is still making money on it at the current price, putting it in a humble bundle would devalue the game and they would, more than likely, lose money in the long run. Imo, long run outweighs the short run, with the exception of certain circumstances of course. Honestly, if they're making good money off Skyrim still and they suddenly put it in a bundle, I would think Bethesda would be going under.
