It's my opinion that, unless RDR is religiously vital to you, you could probably tone down the formatting a bit.
No, seriously- think about how tweaked people get over someone using basic caps out of turn, and you just used Header1- not 2, not 3, but 1- AND all caps AND bolding.
Nevermind that if you do that here, for something so meaningless, and not for all the bigotry and abusive posts, then that's an awkward statement in and of itself.

The GTA V port was quite good in my experience (and I liked the game). I would like to see more of their games on PC if they keep up that quality.

"Quite good" is an understatement in my opinion. It was one of the best ports I have ever seen. It was incredibly smooth with no big bugs or crashes.

I've seen better ports. Some of the controls felt a bit porty, as did the menus. Still, it's by no means a bad port.

RDR is the only reason I still have a PS3. OP didn't like the game, sure...but it certainly wasn't bad. Objectively speaking it was amazing, as bad games don't usually win dozens of awards AFTER the release.

I might be a bit of a conspirationist but I believe some Rockstar may have done it to have publicity. There are more people talking about it not beeing on PC rather than the game itself. Just saying, nothing serious ^^

There are barely any good western games at all and RDR is probably the best one there is.
It will come to PC sooner or later, RDR1 didn't because the code was a mess.

I would just love to see the comments now from the persons who thanked GTA 5's beta testing for the console players. It's just generally lovely to see entitled gamers to be butthurt. No publisher, no developer owes anything for "us". I really can't understand this level of entitlement in some people - why angry at someone for not catering your needs that's not even an essential need? I would understand sadness (I do feel sad about Okami +Shadow of the Colossus being non-PC) but being angry? Rather be happy that you don't lose anything, you're just being left out from something.

I don't really mind people complaining about a game lacking a PC port, they don't hurt anybody.
That said, as a gamer you need to understand that no matter which platform you decide to game on it won't have all the games, ever. As long as exclusives exist, and let's face it they'll always exist, you gonna miss some games unless you buy every piece of hardware ever like some collectors do. But the average gamer isn't made of money so just complain in the hopes of a port but don't get heartbroken if you don't get it, remember that you don't have enough life left to play every game out there anyway.

with the new xbox one slim models being released - there are probably a crap ton of older models showing up on craigslist (is that still a thing?) on the cheap. The new PS4 is coming out soon too so many people will be looking to replace to the new models. I have a ps4 and xbone... I am actually offering my old xbone to my facebook friends for free + games to whoever comes and picks it up.... no takers yet :(

Have you played it? Have you finished it? Are you sane? Regardless of your arguments (which are just your opinion), you question was "why". The answer is people liked RDR and they want to play it. Simple. Each person has their right and motives to do so. Personally, I have a PS4 so I don't care about the PC situaton, but I find it interesting that all your poll options are based on people not wanting or being able to play the game and not taking into consideration those that want and will play it. Disclaimer: I will assume my opinion based on the first entry to the series.
Firstly: RDR is not that good of a game. It is even inferior to GUN. Meaning that its gameplay is overrated.
Secondly: Being a PC gamer, you will have to make sacrifices. Meaning that you won't get that game, but 120+ FPS, full mod support, mouse/keyboard-support, higher resolutions for other games and PC exclusives which are actually meaningful - like Star Citizen.
So why exactly are you complaining? What is the issue here? Rockstar has always been dickish to PC gamers. They do not deserve our attention anymore.
