Do you really care about a Rockstar title not being released on the PC that much?
If you think that's funny, wait till you hear about this - People in America are voting for Hillary Clinton for President!

Because the first RDR was friggin amaze-balls and I would love to play the second but I have neither the funds nor the desire to buy one of the current consoles...and when other games from them get put on PC I don't see why this one can't, I could see if it was 100% exclusive to a single console but if it's being released on both then I see no reason why it couldn't get a PC release as well.

Of course it will get a PC release - well after the console release and sales start to dip.
Remember when Rockstar said "We will not be releasing GTA V on nextgen consoles". That is just called marketing - or blatant lies - whichever you prefer. If you forgot all about that - take a trip down memory lane here: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2013/sep/17/grand-theft-auto-5-gta-dan-houser-interview

Have RDR for X360 - and didn't care to play it (get into it) ... looked good but seemed like GTA with horses and being from Rockstar ugh ...
That and i don't like the wild west setting that much. Different game but similar allure is Call of Juarez Gunslinger - tried that and almost played it for real.
CoJG > RDR

So many have already eaten the marketing so well. Not because the game is good or not, or if it coming on PC. But just about knowing it already shows how much marketing people have eaten. Their marketing team needs a raise.
Personally don't care about the series. Although I do own RDR. Pretty meh game. Never even finished it. Pretty easy to guess what happens in end without playing it through. Minigames were nice in it though.
Don't think the subject is worth the hype. And since it isn't even coming on PC, should just kill the hype completely.
PS: Feel sad for you OP. Many probably blacklisted you just for creating a thread. And then even more people cause they don't like your opinion.

unnecessary thread. people that feel like being disappointed will be, regardless of your opinion about the first RDR. Also, it'll probably be released on PC anyways. the GTAV port was only announced some months after it's console announcement, back in 2013.

Where's the option- "I own console so I am happy"?
Anyway I didn't also like the game, but my brother and friend complete whole story and they loved it. Personally, I tried three times but that's not a game for me. I sold it several days ago for funny cash.

No, since I don't even know what RDR stands for (but still, generally I find limiting games to certain consoles rude and tasteless).

It is most certainly not rude nor tasteless. Half of the games released only on console are done so because they are 'console exclusives' that development cost is paid for by the console manufacturers. Then to have normal developers who release on multi-systems hold back their PC port to help recoup some of the cost for the top tier ps4/xbone dev kit and licenses is just standard business. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that. It can be annoying as a gamer sometimes but it is not rude or tasteless.

So why exactly are you complaining?
Why are you? Why aren't we allowed to want a game that looks, that is good?
Also, your poll is complete bullshit. Seriously, if you want to create a thread to discuss something, don't make it so that only your opinion on the issue at hand matters. It makes it pointless.

Rockstar was always like this - always caring about consoles first. To be honest, I don't even care about this game. If it was about Bully 2, I would complain though. ;P

There is no longer an excuse for companies to make games console exclusive anymore, and there hasn't been any for about a decade. The closest thing to an exception is for Wii and Wii U games, since those are built around the console's gimmicks.

Disclaimer: I will assume my opinion based on the first entry to the series.
Firstly: RDR is not that good of a game. It is even inferior to GUN. Meaning that its gameplay is overrated.
Secondly: Being a PC gamer, you will have to make sacrifices. Meaning that you won't get that game, but 120+ FPS, full mod support, mouse/keyboard-support, higher resolutions for other games and PC exclusives which are actually meaningful - like Star Citizen.
So why exactly are you complaining? What is the issue here? Rockstar has always been dickish to PC gamers. They do not deserve our attention anymore.
Thanks for reading.
