Whatever I can manage to squeeze into the $15 I made off of crafting badges. I never go into these having any plans for what I'll buy since you never know what's on sale ahead of time

How can you earn by crafting badges ? I mean crafting requires cards which that you can sell to make money..

By selling off most of what I got from crafting. Some games have higher value stuff associated with it than others. For example, the spaghetti background for Undertale at this time could be sold for $2 more than it took to craft the whole badge.

but then you got to be lucky enough to win the right badge. isn't it like opening boxes in CSGO or TF2 - basically a lottery where a handful of people win big, but altogether a losing proposition?

Most of the time, yeah definitely. Crafting right before the sales really helps since you can also sell the summer cards unlike the coupons you normally get.

Assuming they come down to the price points I have in mind, I'll probably buy:
- GTA V
- American Truck Simulator
- DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2
- DLC for OMSI 2 (did I mention I quite like driving sims?)
- Final Fantasy 9
- Pixel Puzzles 2 (the full set)
- ...and a whole bunch of cheap games with mixed reviews or better, because you never know quite what you're going to enjoy until you try them :)
