I experienced something, not a scam but last year i won a trip to blizzcon, it was only the entrace and both fly's.
But one of my teachers dint let me go, because i had to apresent a work in university... and he was like: "wtf you want to skip it since you wanna go to EUA?".
And i even talk to him before-hand since i had to rename the entrace....

That's pretty common here in Sweden if we sell or trade, there is an app called "swish" for money transactions which is bound to your mobile number.
Had so many sunshine stories that was solved through their parents, almost one daily in the trading group on FB hah... :D
It's also punishable by law to scam so either they end up give it back or risk getting a sweet fine (If they get caught ofc) ='D

You can add your bank to Paypal account, but PayPal is just a payment service as far as im concerned?

took over a month.....finally have my knife back.
today, randomly looking through my twitter feed saw a tweet about retweeting to winning 1 of 5 cs:go knives. there were already about 76k retweets so my chances were pretty slim and my retweet was pretty much within the last 30minutes. (thank the rng gods)
anyway i won a sapphire bayonet (noticed when my email suddenly received a whole bunch of mail saying ppl liked a tweet i was mentioned in.)

the things is i don't really play cs:go (i have 14hrs lol) so i decided to try and sell it to someone who would appreciate it more than me. found out it was worth around $1200-$1350. so i'm like hell yea. money i can put forward to good use.
anyway found a guy who offered me $1250. sceptical at first ( and i shulda stayed suspicious) but eventually he offered to throw in a well worn knife.
at the time i was also on the train (even missed my stop lmao) so i didnt take as many precautions as i should of. honestly i'm such a dumbass and was over excited. i didnt notice he had just edited his paypal balance. there wasn't even a fucking dollar sign next to it
