Do you ever clear your whitelist/blacklist?

Damn you guys are active on your lists if you need to clean them!

Both of mine are only in the 100 range so I don't really NEED to clear them, but I do have a bunch of high leveled people on my BL so I frequently end up removing folks (they usually get there by only giving almost exclusively to their small groups and entering public give aways, if you're on there, there's a 80% chance that's why)
I've been working on expanding the whitelist more though, it's just less depressing personally to me to concentrate on the "good" people and worry less about the "bad" ones.

When I place someone on my whitelist, I don't do it lightly and he/she is in there for the ride. As for the list that isn't white the very same thing goes...People who deserve it get on it. Just a shame that there's no notifcation with SG username when someone blacklist/whitelist you so you have the opportunity to return the favor.

Lucky I have 4 times more people that are white than black. :-) And I have (for the moment) no space issues on both.

I consider neither list permanent, and only a few people on my blacklist will have no chance of redeeming themselves (the person who was really rude to another user who had just lost his dogs is one of those who will stay on there). A couple of people have been removed from my BL, though a good portion of the ones on my BL seem to be repeat offenders.

People on my WL are there because they've repeatedly been showing that they're great people (and I've noticed them being great), but if I see them breaking the rules, or acting rude, they are thrown off the WL. Thus far, only a single person has been removed from it, and it was one of the earlier persons I added to it, who I added because I had seen his posts on another forum. Turned out that he was not as keen on following the SG rules as the rules on that forum, and actually got thrown straight down into my BL.

I'm considering to reduce the size of my blacklist recently and this thread does help get a more educated view on the subject. Would be interested to hear more opinions if people (and the OP) don't mind the necroing.

I recently decided to clear my blacklist and actually outright stop using it, since I realized it wasn't really achieving anything. Most of the people on my blacklist were never going to enter a GA of mine anyway. Even if they did, it's unlikely they'd have won. And to be honest, I mainly only use public GAs to giveaway games I got from bundles and don't want, and so I couldn't care less who wins them. I give good stuff in "private" giveaways(either as simple links posted in created threads or behind puzzles), but really, still a really small chance they'd win. So basically I found my blacklist is doing nothing but hurting people's feelings. They're not going to win from me anyway. All it does is make people feel bad they've been blacklisted. And un-blacklisting people might make them happy when they see the number go down in the stats(if they check/care about that sorta thing), and so far I haven't had any previously-blacklisted person win a GA from me(none that I can remember at least), so I'd say it's all good.

I usually don't bother with blacklists unless the user has been extremely "bad" (in whatever way) or it affected me personally.
I rather clear out whitelists if they like won three games a week from me or they don't seem interested in my shitty games fairly. xD

I've never actually used the Whitelist or Blacklist before.

Every time I visit blacklist I ask myself if I really care about that person being on there and if the answer is no I removed them, so now I'm at 2, one being a permanently banned user I keep there as a bookmark :o)

I don't use the white-list and black-list features. Don't know if it's laziness or just not caring enough. My giveaways are usually all public with the exception of a few trains I do here and there. Although I do understand how useful these lists can be. I've been frequenting SG for a little less than a year now, and there always seems to be some sort of negative discussions about them, more-so black-lists. Aside from this post, I guess I didn't want to be apart of it all too much.

My BL is reduced when I discover that the person is permanent suspended. So many people have passed through my list.

I don't tag, so it's hard to come back to it and ask myself why did I do that. But I guess that if I put them here in the first place, I had a reason.

Blacklist... I just removed Everyone except for 2 people for the new year. Most were permanently suspended from SG.. so it was a mute factor.
Whitelist... I also trim this every end of the year, and add throughout the year.

So yes, I maintain both.

People keep blacklisting me and I don't know why, so if I find out who they are they are permanently blacklisted by me.
I try to keep a 1:1 ratio, am pretty mellow, and just try to help others out.

Puzzle Cheaters, Group Exploiters, and scumbag devs (who revoke keys) also find themselves blacklisted.
Once you make it on to my BL, there are no exceptions ever.
You've gotta be a pretty shitty person to make it on to my BL though.
