True for yes, false for no.
How is it not? If you add an option to expand something you should add an option to collapse it. Period. Would you like it if upon clicking the arrow on the dropdown menu in the header, the menu came down and the arrow disappeared, making it only possible to hide the menu again by refreshing the page? I think it's common sense to always add an option to close something after you open it.

Hmm I read pimped giveaways and that tickled my interest, my bad O.o

Isnt it strange how every possible number that can be represented in computer language is equivalent to true, EXCEPT 0. Like, 1, 13, -1238412, 532.5257, pi, etc. are all TRUE, but 0 is false.
In a theoretically perfect machine that has the ability to represent every real number, that means the probability of choosing a value of False at random is 0 and the probability of choosing true at random is 100%. That's crazyyyyy

That is crazy. It would make more sense to make positive numbers true and negative numbers false.

Admit it, this is just an advertisement for your script, because you didn't see I had this feature available in my script before you did. :3
In all seriousness though, I think it's because by default the site loads each page of giveaways separately, so the flow ends up being:
SG also has the 'Active Discussions' below the giveaways by default too, so even that encourages scrolling down.
Something like a collapsible featured section only makes sense in scripts because they usually also enable infinite loading on the pages and/or put the pagination at the top, so scrolling back up is a part of the flow.

Why would I advertise my script? I gain nothing from it. I was just offering people a hopefully temporary fix. I don't bother checking every other script ever made for SG to see if one of them did something that I want to do, and honestly I don't even know if I'm familiar with your script.
What doesn't make sense is to have an expandable section that doesn't offer the option to collapse it.

It was a joke, did you miss the larger portion of my post that gave a probable reason as to why this feature was not implemented?

My bad, I missed the joke. No, I read it all, it doesn't matter to me what reasons might or might not have led to a non-implementation of a collapsing option in an expanding feature. It's just illogical to me to add an option to open something without adding an option to close it, under any circumstances. It's not even a complex thing to do.

If you expand pinned giveaways there is no way to collapse them other than refreshing the page. I find it hard to see any objection to this suggestion, so I don't even know why it needs a poll. I already fixed this in my script, but it would be nice if it was fixed on SG.
