Isn't this the one-touch/fast payments thing that paypal offers?
Try going to your profile>My settings> Update On the Check Out settings.

When i click update in that section this is the only thing i get :
"You haven't created any settings for making small purchases (less than €4.00 EUR) that don't require shipping."
There's nothing else i can click/do except return to my profile. Plus from what i'm seeing on google this one touch thing seems to be a mobile feature, i never used paypal on my phone and it says the option was turned on for my PC.

try this even if it supposed to be for mobile devices too
I'll keep looking since I never had such "issue" and don't have a self- confirmed answer.

And for the last trick, try going to the site you used paypal and poke around the account settings there to see if you find anything related.
Bonus points if you feel edgy: Make a "purchase" , walk it step by step and watch closely if there any checkboxes/gears etc in any of the steps but remember to stop at the confirm purchase so you dont buy something you dont want.
Otherwise ignore that sh!t like SquireZed suggested.
Over and out.

The purchase was from bundlestars, i don't see anything special in my account settings there. I'm not worried enough for my account security to bother contacting their support over it, there's no suspicious transactions or anything, no attempt to change any personal data. Thanks for all the help mate :)

Paypal keeps slipping stuff like that; new features that pop up when you're supposed to pay and you blindly click through another window asking "Do you want to use Paypal Credit?" or "Do you want to bypass logins on this device?" If you made a payment, you may have accidentally selected it. However, it might be a scam email, so you shouldn't log in using any of the links provided without checking the URL and connection. That said, probably nothing to worry about. Even if you haven't set it up, they could have sent the email in error; it wouldn't be the first time.

It's not a phishing email, there's no links to click on or anything and it's from the address that i always get anything paypal related. Yeah that was my guess as well, who knows, maybe it came it even came ticked on by default and i didn't notice to untick it. I also thought it might have been sent in error but it's weird because it's never happened to me before in almost a year. Oh well thanks for trying to help :)

When you were checking out, and you got to the Paypal login screen, you (or someone who accessed your account) did check a box that said "click this box to stay logged in for faster purchases" or something like that. That is EXACTLY how this happened. There's no if or maybe, someone did it. It's not checked by default, you have to check the box explicitly. Trust me, I know. I've done it, and got the same email.
Are you using 2-Factor Authentication (Security Key) on Paypal? If not, then all you should need to do is clear out your browser cookies and cache, and that should reset it.
If that doesn't work, then you need to reset your modem to generate a new IP address, so that it appears you're using a new machine.
I would suggest that once you get things back to normal, you change your password as a precaution, and personally, I refuse to use Paypal without 2-Factor Authentication enabled. It can sometimes cause a problem with certain sites, and you have to disable it temporarily, but to me, the extra security is worth it.

Nah it's me, like i said there's no other transactions on it except mine. I don't know why but i just didn't feel like setting up a 2 step authentication on this one, the email i have it connected to is secure(and i use it for nothing else) and i don't visit places that come with keyloggers. You're right, i very likely clicked it by mistake.

So i'v been using Paypal since December last year, never had any sort of issue with it, never had to fiddle with any setting or anything. Today when i randomly logged in to my Paypal email i see this email from 2 days ago :
"You've opted to bypass logging in to your PayPal account when making purchases from this device: Desktop Chrome Windows 7 NT 6.1.
Now when you pay with PayPal, we won’t ask you for your password, PIN or security key every time. You'll still need to log in, for example, when you use a different device or browser or to view your account information and activity.
If you share this device, or if it’s stolen, please turn off this option immediately. Otherwise, you may not be covered for unauthorized transactions. Your rights under the Buyer Protection are not affected.
To turn this off:
Log into your PayPal account.
Click the gear icon.
Click Security.
Click Edit next to "Stay logged in for faster purchases."
Click Log out everywhere.
Thanks,
PayPal"
Now i never opted to change anything, no one else besides me has access to my account. The only way anything got changed like that is if i clicked something by mistake when i purchased something(and i did purchase something with Paypal 2 days ago, but i don't remember ticking any option box). My issue here is that i see no such gear icon on my Paypal account and no such option in any of the tabs in my account settings. Anyone got any ideas? :)
Here's some (botproof) free keys for taking the time(or not) to read my issue, too lazy to make proper GAs today :)
