The metal slug games freeze for a few seconds every minute of so in my Nvidia shield tablet. Other than that, this bundle plays nice with a controller.

if you're on a 30 minute bus ride, you can play a nice game instead of getting bored. i fail to see how someone can fail to understand that. ^^

Many of these have controller support. You can play them on your PC with Bluestacks installed.
