Pretty sure you have to enter your account info into a page before you get hacked. That's how they get your account name and password :P But yeah, you're not alone. There have been a lot of people posting here today about being hacked.

the link should be removed from op also its best to always think everything is a phishing link. i almost gave up my pypal info once do to a email but since i'm in the habit of never using links in emails it saved me. (i opened a new tab and used a bookmark to log in)

I've never been caught out by these, but it's because I'm quite tech-savvy and am very aware of these things. The average person is likely going to look, see a post from a friend that they talk to all the time and click on it, without thinking. It happens all the time to the best of them, real-life circumstances or not. :)

I lost an account when i was starting on steam, it had just 15 games, but when i got it back, it had a vac ban :(

One person here that got their account hijacked has gotten a game ban in CS:GO. I do know that they WILL remove game bans/VAC bans in very rare occasions, so hopefully an account being compromised is one of them!

I vote we change all references to the scam site to That Which Shall Not Be Named, and then rename SG to DementorDramaDiscussions.com.
Let's just go all in on this, since it doesn't seem like anyone is going to calm down either on posting links to the site (#DeathEaters), instigating drama about the site while misattributing blame and attacking innocents (#MinistryofMagic), or making empty, poorly formatted threads on the matter (#Dementors).
Really, where are Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood when we need them? Or heck, even those bumbling sidekicks of theirs?

Well I already have had problems with real life situations that quite didn't have me thinking straight from the beginning today and I received a message from a high lvl friend out of curiosity it was to some random site "https://spindatgamex(dot)com/" and my account was hacked the moment I clicked on it. Please whatever you do, DO NOT click on this link especially if its a message from my account!!
UPDATE: Anyone on my friend’s list receiving messages from me it is NOT me. Please disregard the messages from me until I have recovered my account. Please let anyone else know that has read this message and knows anyone on my friend’s list. Spread the word thanks.
