If you want instant Thanks spammers I hear that user Jessika has a group she/hes starting, you have to have a lot of thanks on your posts though. A LOT.
Sorry that's me being a smarty. There are some nice and more private groups that take appreciation very seriously.

Wow... Actually most of the group is quite polite and friendly for your information.

Just for the record, I know the Notable Odds needs 1:1 comment ratio, and I thought they were one of the more prestigious giveaway groups, though I could be wrong.
Don't get me wrong, there may be other problems with that group, but the comment ratio requirement isn't one of them

His issue isn't people postings thanks during the giveaway period, but saying a simple thank you upon RECEIVING the gift. I think he has a point. Basic courtesy. It's totally irrelevant to Jessika's group requirements.

It's a joke.
Not only are the games not mentioned here, not only did Angrenbor not request one specifically, but the giveaways in question are already closed.
IS JOKE. HE MAKE FUNNY.

I even send a thanks email back when delivery is by email, it's common courtesy to do so
Guess you ended up in the deep end, or you didn't do it right. For example, if the first thing you do when someone wins and you add them, is send a trade, you're doing it wrong.

If you can't be bothered to thank someone giving you something you don't deserve it. o.o

Not a lot of people have bothered saying thanks for the things I've given away, though most of them have stuck around on my friends list. Of course, that's not really what I'm looking for when creating giveaways - if I craved gratitude, I'd go up to random strangers on the street and hand them cash.
Actually, you know what, I bet not all of them would say thanks, either. That's life.

That option is available but only for group and private giveaways. Some users keep their private ban lists and if one from the list happens to win, you have the right to reroll.

I make competitions on my give aways, get people to say more then thanks in the comments. Choose one comment I liked the most, friend em and give them a copy of the game also. This way I can be far more sure to find someone who will be willing to talk a little after giving them a game.

I've started doing most of my giveaway as Private to forum-goers or Group.
It really helps weed out the people who don't even speak English who just enter all giveaways they can and can't even communicate back to you.
Not that there is a problem with someone not speaking English, it's just I like to be able to talk to the person I'm gifting to rather than feeling like a vending machine.
Also weeds out non-commenting/non-appreciative leeches.

I had no idea how to title this. So I made 3 gaveaways so far (one for SG group only, others open to everyone) and 2 out of those 3 winners haven't said a single word after receiving the gift. They received it and then left my friends list. No 'Hi', no 'Thanks', no nothing. The games weren't anything incredible, I know, but is there any place (group) or type of giveaway I can make, to reach people that would behave a bit differently?
