Sounds like a Steam hiccup. Wait about five minutes, then restart Steam. Check to see if it's in your library. If not, try redeeming the gift, again.

This has happened to me when I won something couple days ago. Am working with the giveaway creator to try and get it figured out.. restarting Steam hasn't done anything for me, I think the only way around it is if the creator sends you the gift via a Steam trade.

I had this with a win from PlayBlink. Two months later, it finally worked. :P
Since I'm sure you can't wait that long, contact the gifter, explain the problem, and get it through a trade window.

Thanks all, I've sent a friend request to the gifter which they will hopefully accept. If not, I'll try contacting Steam support.
I've tried a few times throughout the day, restarting both Steam and my computer, but that didn't make it buff out.

I just won a gift here, however after clicking the email from Steam to redeem it takes me first to this:
Activating your gift...
We've started the gift activation process in the Steam Client. If your Steam Client does not show the gift, or if you do not have the Steam Client installed on this computer, you can complete the gift activation in your browser instead.
And upon clicking 'activate in browser' (since nothing was happening in my client) it tells me 'This gift has already been redeemed.'
I've restarted Steam multiple times, but it hasn't solved the problem. I'm not sure what to do, they obviously sent the gift to me, but I don't want to mark it as received and end up in trouble for never activating it.
I've also checked my account history, and it isn't mentioned there either.
I've sent the user a friend request, but I don't know if anything can be done on their end.
If anyone knows what to do, help would be greatly appreciated.
