I tested it on Firefox and it works fine there, but not on Chrome. Are you using Firefox?

I know, but I'm giving you a temporary solution to a permanent problem. If you zoom it out, you'll be able to see the full window. Other than that, does it happen with all the browsers?

I just tested it in both Firefox and Chrome. Works fine for me

Weird, so it looks like it isn't a Chrome-related issue like I thought.

Might be a specific resolution or version one tho. What are you on?

My resolution is 1440x900. Latest version of Chrome. Windows 10 Pro.

1920x1080 both browsers work fine.
1440x900 on Chrome I have the same issue as you, FF works fine.

Oh, I thought maybe it would have been one of these cases where doing this:
Causes the page to be too wide. :P
[Edit] Huh, looks like this issue was fixed, since it doesn't happen anymore. Neat.

it is indeed :D

Yes, for almost a week now (event ends on the 23rd). And happy cake day! :D

I now noticed! ^^ Well, I've not had that much time to spare recently, so I rarely visit the forum anymore.. .-. and thank you :3

Or maybe it's just because you're using my script and I fixed it there. :P

So does this count as a separate comment as well? If so, hi, got you. Never mind me, I probably should read what the comment is about before replying. Welp. Good thing I haven't had any points to begin with lol
I'm tired.

Heh, yes, but that was a trap. It counts as a -1 to your score. :P
Since you obviously wasn't aware of it, I'll let it slip, but I suggest reading the entire event thread (yeah, I know it's kind of long) before participating. ^^

Ah I remember my first time falling for a trap like it was yesterday ^^

I mean, I read it all - and I participated last year as well. But let's be real, I'm not gonna catch you two (or three to make up for this one) times before tomorrow, so it really doesn't matter anyway :D
Loved the event last year though. It's a shame I'm so busy right now. Would have loved to participate ;-;
Throw us out of the group earlier next time, god damn it :D
Well, won't matter for next time anyway as I'm not part of it anymore anyway.. you know what I mean though, I hope :D

Throw us out of the group earlier next time, god damn it :D
Heh, I figured I should get the group ready for the next group to be invited. :P
By the way, you'd only need 2 points to be pretty much guaranteed in the top 20, so... ^^
This reply CAN be claimed. :D

Well, I didn't get this one and I plan on getting some sleep soon, and this event only lasts until tomorrow and I won't be home until late in the day, soooo, let's just say, the chances are very, very slim, and that's fine. Unfortunate but well, that's what it is now :D

Yes
Edit: Actually it looks like it doesn't work for descriptions, I'll change that.

eeem, is it optional? because I have some functions turned off, but it still seems to be there.. (I'm quite sure I updated it just now though)
I wouldn't be surprised if I'm missing something D:

It's not currently optional, no. Why would you want to disable it though?
Comment has been collapsed.
ah I meant as in, the bug still seems to be there for me, not that I'd want to disable it :P
I thought maybe it's because I have disabled some features ^^

If you open the description (right click on it and inspect element) and click on <div class="markdown markdown--resize-body">
can you see a CSS rule in the panel like this:
.markdown {
word-break: break-word;
}

Yeah, looks like it doesn't work on Firefox. I'll see if it can be fixed.

I know this is even more late, but honestly, I don't think it's worth the effort. It's barely noticeable and doesn't really do any harm (I actually kind of like it :d).

Steamgifts is designed with a minimum resolution of 1366 in mind. The recent additions to ".giveaway__columns" will cause the "Page a little too wide." as well since there is only about 200px space for scripts to add their content. A new row underneath that contained everything other than text eg. region, whitelist, group, level, enter button, description button might be more practical.
Edit: Something like the pic?

This thread title is so polite, as if you are informing someone delicately that they are too wide

Hello. I've seen this happen in a few discussions so far. The page tends to get a little too wide. At first I thought it could be because of some script, but I disabled all scripts I have installed and it still happens: http://i.imgur.com/JzHs3DS.png
Does it also happen to you if you visit this page?
Edit: Apparently it's a resolution problem related to 1440x900 resolutions.
Edit: Sighery found the source of the problem: #UIvIWH9
