Game genres we need more of? (Pool Inside)

We need more point & click games (especially the ones that are combined with adventure too)! We can never get enough. ^_^

Interesting story games, I'd say.

A Racing game/dating-simulation with rogue-like elements.

i mean, i know its a shooter but the overdive system and commanding other troops in real time againts the twisted is just addictive.
i have yet to see a game with similar mechanics...

3D platformers, yes, I am biased.

I would say JRPGs but we actually have a ton of them... just not great ones... seems these days they're made purely for "waifus" rather than actual content, grand stories or interesting combat.

Imma go with Hack&Slash with huge amounts of loot... I just can't get enough of them!

Aside from that, nicely polished rogue-likes like TBoI or ToME are awesome! The genre has quite a few games, just not many really good ones.

Genres? Meh. We need Ace Attorney on the PC!

Walking simulators with some sort of goal.

Gothic.

JRPG, we need more waifus.

I voted for RPGs, I really miss games like Witcher 3, maybe not done on that big scale, but with today's technology, RPGs located in open world can be done really well, sadly there doesn't seem to be enough of them.

Stealth! Preferably ones that allow full ghost/pacifist playthroughs.

There's always room for more RTS. It's a really underpopulated genre I think. And most new attempts fail at least according to reviews. Starcraft 2 still reigns supreme, and no game has even come anywhere near (again according to reviews).

Racing and RPG. If they are open world, better :)

I wouldn't mind a return to classic jrpgs but that is already happening slowly with I am Setsuna and Bravely Default. TCGs that are not filled with microtransactions and have a strong campaign focus would be nice like The Duelists of the Roses or Digimon Digital Card Battle. Monster Rancher Battle Card Episode 2 is still my favourite game of all time.

Porn games. Seriously. We ... I mean, other people have needs, too. Other people. Totally not me.

CMS (City Management games) Ex: Ceasar 4

Platformer with a proper story - there is a lot of platformers out, but mostly level-based puzzle ones.
And maybe RTS, and it would be awesome if more story-oriented RPGs would be out there.
(And the era of sandbox "but it has content" games would be great if would end)

We need more games like Majesty where you take indirect control. So I guess mostly would go to strategy game genre. However there is so much more you could do with indirect control. Sims is one example. It is more of an simulation game. Think indirect control could be easily mixed with roguelike elements too.
But sadly they won't be made as it isn't profitable. Requires a lot of coding and good AI. Easier route to just make flashy shooters or such.

Games with boobs, any genre. Or boob genre. Or RTS with boobs. I play games of all genres, so it's difficult for me even to choose. Maybe RTS, but old RTS are still good tho. So let it be just boobs.
