There's a script that marks blacklisted/whitelisted users, that's enough for me, although I agree, it would be handy. As for your second suggestion, it would be really rude towards GA creators: they may have written something on their GAs' pages, you should have some courtesy to read it if you enter their GAs. Also, both suggestions appear on SG regularly, you'd have found them if you took a couple of minutes to search discussions.

What do you mean with not enough time? It takes like 1 second to open a page (unless you have really slow internet). If you're in a hurry, you just shouldn't be entering GA's.

with almost 7.3k games hidden, I even dont enter everything in sight. There are a couple of games that look intressting but I am on the fence if I come around playing them at all, because I have similair games for example and am afraid that I get bored of it and will never get to playing the game, making the possible win a total waste^^
And you are right of course.
In the past I admit I have used a script like that to join faster, but that wasnt the main reason for the script, it had an infinite scroll function with it as well. It was before I found out I could sort on newest GA and could hide stuff I didnt want for sure :)
And one of my wins is because of reading the description because creator had another copy under an invite only within the GA itself ^^

If you can't be bothered to read (or even open) the giveaway description, then you shouldn't bother to enter the giveaway, either.

As for the second suggestion, the mobile app for SteamGifts supports this functionality already, though bear in mind that people may look down upon you for not reading descriptions (and you will risk frequent blacklists from people that have made specific demands in their descriptions). I don't know if any of the SG add-on scripts around this site also does this, but I wouldn't be surprised as it's been discussed often.

And you need to say some giveaways have a restriction of country that you can't find in the options to create it, for that reason, you need to add a warning description.

As well as 'specific demands' certain users may also have gotten blacklisted for repeatedly ignoring polite requests like 'please don't enter this GOTY giveaway just for the DLC'...

I'm not sure if you were making any suggestions there, but in case you are referring to me in question, I apologize if I have missed such requests. There is not really any point in doing that either way, since the giveaway creator can always just request a re-roll in those cases. I've probably been careless in more than a few situations though. Rest assured I always strive to read the descriptions.

Well it was actually somebody specific in this thread that provoked me, but I'm not here to do calling out. And yes, people who don't have the time to look at what they are entering could well expect gifters and support to waste their time sorting out avoidable bullshit.
But I don't think it's unreasonable to take preventative action to avoid such problems in the future - assholes don't have to waste their points and time entering giveaways that will get rerolled, gifters don't have to waste their time asking for rerolls, and support don't have to waste their time answering tickets.
Of course the assholes could then still waste their own time moaning about getting blacklisted for no reason or claiming it is about their ratio when that would be just plain unfair - but perfection in an imperfect world is clearly unobtainable.

How do you want to control that though? It can be really hard, if not impossible, to see if someone uses a script to enter or not.

Well, some people open a lot of tabs then enter, ctrl+w, enter etc. You can enter a lot of GA's that way really fast. And even if they start checking that, the scripts will just be made so it waits a second or two after entering and it won't get detected. I wish there was a good way to deal with it though...

i saw there was a update to the userscript a little further down, but i have no idea if that update fixed the multiple page issue or not, or if he changed @match tags, and i doubt he added caching.
i don't actually blacklist anyone so wouldn't even be able to test.
edit: glance at the code looks like he fixed the page issue but that's it, so could work, but not efficiently.

I recently used that script and steam kept disconnecting my account from steamgifts. After the third disconnect, I disabled the script and it stopped disconnecting me. Also got the error message in the image below shortly before disabling the script.
Could just be a conflict of scripts on my end or poor connection timing, since I haven't seen anybody else complaining about it, although I haven't tried to enable the script again to see if it would do it again.

+1 for hiding blacklisted GAs, if you want to blacklist someone AKA you cant enter my shit, you shouldnt be able to enter theirs like a douche

My first suggestion is to apply option to auto-hide GAs from users that you blacklist. It could be "all blacklist" or can be set for specific users in options.<- MOST IMPORTANT
My second suggestion is to add "enter GA" button on main site together with steam, search and hide buttons. It will be the most handy while exploring steamgifts on smartphones...
