I did a giveaway for GT Legends and the winner is saying that the product key is invalid. Checking Bundle Stars showed that i did not make a mistake in copying the key. Anyone got any ideas on checking the keys without me actually redeeming it on my account?

Contact their support with the issue. All bundle sites know these keys change hands often so they will help with the issue, if it is a valid claim by the winner.

whelp, the matter was resolved. Apparently there was a spacing in front of the key, causing it to be invalid. Lots of apology letters to write now, including 1 to Bundle Stars helpdesk.

They sometimes start at a lower price for the first 24 hours, then go up in price for the duration of the sale. During Happy Hour (when you get extra free gift bundles with every purchase), the price goes up yet again, then when Happy Hour ends, it drops back down to the regular price (in this case, 2.99)
