Wow, nice train! Happy birthday, and best of luck with the Tinder date. Hey, with Tinder, even if it doesn't work out long term, at least they're usually up for some, uh, short-term therapy. :D

Happy Birthday Keenzor. It's always nice to see another March birthday!
You've got a job that you love, you're working out, you're going on a date, and you've got a little bit of free time to play PC games. Sounds like a pretty good situation!

Happy birthday, Keenzor. I wouldn't worry about it too much. To me all that "you have to have a relationship to be a worthy member of this society" is just that: some made up arbitrary rule. Feeling good about yourself makes you independent, and that in the end is what attracts members of the other gender (or the same, depending on what your into, so let's call it potential mates).
Anyways, have fun!

Thank you! It's not like that I feel presured by my surroundings be in a relationship but rather that I am struggling with facing the day to day life on my own. But you are definitely right that without having a positive attitude I am unlikely to attract potential partners. This is something I am trying to work on but it's going slow and I tend to fall down a lot.

Thanks for the train, and happy birthday! :3
Like canis said, you can find happiness in what you already have : you like your job, you are going on a date, you have the opportunity to work out, that's something ^^ I wish you good luck and have fun!

Thanks for sharing this, it's good to know that there are others struggling with similar problems.
Two years single here. Got a great job in January (tabletop games industry!) and it's the only thing keeping me alive.
Weekends are a nightmare since I'm staying home alone with depression. So I guess I know what your talking about.
Have my best wishes! Cheers!

Edit: Just wanted to thank everyone for the wishes and encouragement, this thread has given me a lot of joy and some stuff to think about (good stuff). The keys have been sent to the GA winners, enjoy! :)
Today I got to add another +1 to my age and since I have not been very active in the 'giveaway creation department' (mostly because I am too lazy to go through the whole process), I have managed to hoard bunch of keys (mostly from Humble Monthlies since I rarely buy other bundles these days).
So here comes the obligatory train
And since this is a good opportunity to spill out some stuff, I usually bottle up inside, to complete strangers, I might as well use it!
Not that there is much to share... Job-wise things are going well, January marked the start of my 4th year at the company and since Autumn I finally got to do what I like full time so that's neat!
On the other hand, soon I will be single for 3 years and I am starting to get worried. The feeling of loneliness, accompanied by the feeling of worthlessnes is really starting to get to me and while I still do manage to get out of the bed and go to work everyday, I am afraid that a day will come when I just won't be able to.
On the bright side, I have a date scheduled on Wednesday (first one after a year!) so who knows, maybe things will take a turn for the better (though I would rather not get too excited since it's a Tinder date and I have never had a second one with anyone I met through it).
I have also been working out since January and it actually helps me to feel better about myself though I have been slowing down a bit past two weeks, hopefully I will be able to pick up the pace again this week because it would suck to stop now.
I might not be that active here anymore but I still enjoy reading the forums from time to time as well as entering the giveaways of course, so thanks everyone for keeping this place alive. Cheers!
