Convince me resurrected (slight variation - Rainbow Six Siege Uplay)

Alright, so here's the deal. I own both the R6 Siege game and Season Pass on uplay; however, my collector stupidity (and steam web browser needs) kicks in once in a while and I would like to own it on Steam as well.

I don't have another Uplay account to activate R6 Siege against, so I was thinking to get the steam copy for use on steam, and to bind the Uplay key to a friend's account. But I want the person whose account I end up activating R6 Siege on, to actually play it, preferably together with me once in a while. It's a great game and has a great community. I am not sure if Steam would provide me with a key for Uplay when purchasing the game.or prompt me to login. If prompted to login - I might have to ask you for your uplay credentials. I understand not everyone will trust me, however I do have +47/-0 rep and a fairly old account on SG. In any event, if you don't trust me feel free to pass. To those interested, you would have to somehow prove that you won't play for a day or two and go inactive again.
