Have you clicked through the next few steam activation windows? Because I had a similar thing happen to me a few weeks ago. Steam told me the name was totally different, but I clicked next and installed. The real game installed and the other game doesn't exist I my account so it's all good.
If it definitely activated and installed the wrong game, then it's possible the GA creator pasted in the wrong key. Probably best to contact support.

Thank you very much for your advice! You are correct. I looked in my library, it actually says "Jet Racing Extreme".
Good that it all is only a bug on Steam's side. I didn't know about this.
Now I can close the activation window and this thread. It may take some months until I am able to do my own giveaways, but you are whitelisted now. :-)

As you own Jet Racing Extreme on Steam, It's likely that you just saw the wrong game due to the Steam glitch. You tried activating a Make it indie! key earlier, and it didn't work, so it displayed that title on the next successful redeem. Don't worry, you got the right game.

I see you have Jet Racing Extreme on your account, but not Make it Indie. Maybe you tried to activate a "make it indie" key just before it, without closing the activation window?

Hello everyone!
I hope you can help me out as I am new and I am unsure about what actual steps I have to take now.
So the page told me I won "Jet Racing Extreme".
I copied the key and pasted it into Steam's product activation window. It tells me that I activated "Make it indie!", obviously the wrong game.
I don't want to be mean or something. Maybe there is a way to unactivate it and requesting for a correct key?
Please tell me what I have to do now.
