I am mostly a fan of RPGs and story-driven games.

My favorite games include :

• Planescape Torment, Deus Ex, Alpha Protocol, Baldur's Gate, The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind, Dragon Age, The Witcher games, Mass Effect, The Banner Saga, The Walking Dead.

I also play/used to play on consoles, so there's :

• Final Fantasy VIII/FF X, Final Fantasy Tactics, Tactics Ogre, Fire Emblem series, Persona, Growlanser, Yakuza , Suikoden, Metal Gear Solid, Silent Hill, Resident Evil : Code Veronica, God of War...etc.

I really have a huge backlog of games I want to play, but with a full-time, rather demanding job, free time is a premium alas.

HL2 for ever! :D Seriously, the Source engine is one of the most time-defying game engines ever.

I actually coded the first widely publicly available deathmatch mapcycle manager for HL1 back in the 90s. True fact. Yep, I'm a gamer geek for sure. 😀😆🤓

I still really like old point-and-clicks like Monkey Island, Day of the Tentacle, Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis, all of the old Sierra games, etc.

Oh, and System Shock 1&2. Holy crap, those were fantastic games.

Recently upgraded my PC, so I'm playing Shadow of Mordor again and it gorgeous

FF6 but favorite series overall is Suikoden. Is Witcher 3 hard at all? I only played Witcher 2 but got stuck at the 2nd boss and then my controller died so I couldn't keep trying.

Played some MechWarrior 4 today; such a fun game to play, even to this day, and I hope they do a good job on MechWarrior 5.

I just beat Witcher 3 about a week ago and I loved it! Ciri was my absolute favorite.. I'm going to be playing the first two games and reading the books soon.
Another rpg that I love is Dragon Age: Origins. I haven't been able to find another one like it.
I also have been playing Breath of the Wild and It was well worth getting a Switch for.

some other games I love are: Life is Strange, some Telltale games, Ori and the Blind Forest, the Bioshock series, and a few console originals.

No One Lives Forever (1 & 2) and the latest X-COM's. X-COM has the perfect balance between strategy and action/excitement. I also love the new Tomb Raider reboots, although some aspects are really bad, so I mostly pretend they're not there. I'm talking about the unrealistic amount of violence and the dumb, Hollywood-style storyline.

Oh yes, and the Kingdom Rush franchise.

Playing some Wing Commander 5 Prophecy later tonight.

BAstion, Transistor, Pyre, Bioshock series,Borderlands series and Oxenfree.

RTC 2 is also a contester.

Portal (1 and 2) are definitely nice, I should finish them.
Currently playing a lot of PUBG with my friends.
