The mistake of Resident Evil 5's Sheva should've taught them to stick with quality single-player and stop with the co-op.

I 100% agree i like that game so much that a long while back i did make some Resident evil 4 videos and a music videos and posted them on youtube. ( don't wanna get introuble for advertising but if you wanna watch em just add me on steam) best part is i liked how you were able to buy the chicago type writer and the unlimited rocket launcher and then all the cool costumes :)

RE (1) is the only one I ever liked. "Haunted house with a mystery" goodness. After that it became zombie shootemup borefest then an absolute laugh. I love the Red Letter Media videos on the movies.

Revelations is a fantastic co-op resident evil game that is coming out in May its so good and keeps the tension because it splits you up.

I love having a partner and the co-op is a lot of fun.

I never took issue with Sheva's AI either.

The nausea-inducing fixed FOV in Resident Evil 5 meant that game was a complete waste of money for me. The unwillingness of the devs to allow users to adjust graphical output is a robust middle-finger in the face of PC gamers. 9 minutes clocked on it to date, and I doubt I'll be back unless someone smart creates a mod to fix this, or I receive a surprise shipment of aeroplane barf bags in urgent need of rigourous testing.

If I wanted to get seasick, or to become reacquainted with bygone meals, I'd catch the ferry over to Stewart Island. I can do without the same symptoms sitting in front of my PC.

This franchise is dead to me :(

No problem with Sheva's AI when I played RE5 2 year ago.

Resident Evil: Revelations was pretty awesome for the 3ds. It'll probably be better on the PC because of more content.

RE5 wass awesome, just as long as you had a co-op player. It was kind of forced co-op but a good game. Operation Raccoon City was terrible. RE6 was terrible and Revelations will probably be a crappy port and terrible.

What makes you say it will be a bad port? I was under the assumption that Capcom did ports ok lately.

The PC port of RE4 was a mess, DMC 3 port was terrible, I've heard the Lost Planet 2 pc game wasn't that good of a port and this just seems like it came out of now where. It feels like a money grab because of the RE6 sales being so bad.

I've lost a lot of respect in capcom the last couple years. They don't seem to listen to their fans very much and try to do anything just to make a quick buck.

I said lately.

I don't really care for Capcom anymore for the most part, they have been pretty bad game wise BUT lately the ports have been fine, an example would be the DMC4 port compared to the DMC3 port, I have not heard of them making bad ports lately for the most part.

Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter x Tekken, Resident Evil 5, and as HillaryClinton said DMC4 were all good ports.

It means developers, make console games. They then port it to PC, which is quite dumb cause they could've developed a more polished game instead the garbage they do now.

I loved RE5 because of the ability to play it with a partner. Granted, I never played with an AI partner, but it was still incredible. I'm also really enjoying the RE6 co-op (despite some bugs), I can't imagine playing the game on my own.

I'm just as excited to start playing Revelations as I've heard many good things about the 3DS version. Even without proper co-op, it should still be worth my time.

The original Resident Evil for Gamecube is my favourite Resident Evil. I love the door opening cut scenes.

Resident Evil 6 took tips from 5's coop. Your partner is basically invicible and has infinite ammo, and won't use your items up for no reason (which is why people disliked Sheva 90% of the time). You can buy Skills that pretty much make your partner not get involved in anything too :|

Resident Evil 5 was toted from the start as a co-op game. Same for 6 and Revelations.

People need to stop playing resident evil from a nostalgic perspective. 4, 5 and even 6 are all good games (if you don't mind RE being directed by Michael Bay.) Shits fun. Playing with a friend makes the new games so much better.

GOOD
POINT

The more I play Resident Evil 6, the more I enjoy it. My only complaint is that I want to play it more, but have to wait until both me and my friend are available.

It's also becoming abundantly clear that the majority of gamers have no idea what they're talking about, and will jump on to any bandwagon that suits them (ie. hating Resident Evil). Enjoy games for what they are, not what they're called. And for fucks sake, stop letting pictures explain your feelings. Makes you look like a trendy moron.

I was playing Resident Evil when your grandfather was still in diapers, so yeah...I'm kinda qualified to have an opinion. If they didn't want you to prematurely judge this game, they shouldn't have plastered a franchise name on it. Btw, don't help necro a thread that was dead for an entire month. Makes you look like a moron.
