i also have a nice link for you, but won't tell you more...
( you might want to check here in Discussions how it works and why you need it when it comes to IndieGala :P )

short version where you need it for, Indiegala has the option that if you buy bundles during happy hour you get xx +x free (been a while i made use of it).
Groupbuys is used to make a list of people interested in a certain bundle that can Group together so they can go for the maximum multiple bundle buy option which drops the price for the bundle in itself drasticly.
example 1 bundle costs 3$ but if you do it together the avarage cost for 1 bundle can drop bellow the 1$mark.
The working of the group AND happyhour discount is a little more complex. but that is the oversimplified version of it :)

If you want to know the precise workings i suggest following Icaio's advice to search the forum, im sure there is somewhere explained in detail how it works

Yes, they are legit. They are one of the older and more reliable bundle sites and most users here have been buying games from them for many years. Humble Bundle, Indie Gala, Fanatical (use to be Bundle Stars), Groupees.

https://gg.deals/
https://isthereanydeal.com/
These two sites have price histories for most shops.
https://www.reddit.com/r/GameDeals/new
and the Deals section of the forum here are some of the best resources for the newest deals.
Some things are very dependent on where on the globe you're located though.

They all have good and bad games and they all have good and bad prices. I can't say exactly what a good game is because everyone has their own opinion and tastes on what they like to play.
Steamgifts has a page to show what games are on the most users wishlists if you want to know what games people are interested in: https://www.steamgifts.com/giveaways/wishlist
There are also sites like https://gg.deals/deals/ and https://steamdb.info/sales/
You can use those sites to see what games are currently on sale. Depending on which site you use, you can see sales from just Steam or other websites as well. You can sort them by how the game is rated or many other variables.

Deals are good and customer support is pretty good. I've been using them for years and the majority of their keys are fine.

Indiegala's definitely one of the worst bundle sites available right now.
They've had multiple issues of not paying developers for the keys they've sold and keys being revoked out of nowhere.
You won't be scammed outright, at least. But the deals there are some of the worst in the bundle market.

Really? Only one game was revoked for me I ever bought on Indiegala and IG revealed the payment invoice to claim the developer lied and after few weeks developer provided new keys to IG so everyone was able to get the game again.
Key revocations happen is because developers don't understand the contract they sign, they don't understand the happy hour system and they expect probably more money so they revoke the key unlawful, but again, happened only once for me and buying every IG bundle.
There are unused key activations and not because of the developer not being paid, it happens usually because they don't understand that some not activating games right away, but this affects every bundle site.
As I said I encountered only one revocation for a game I got from an IG bundle, it happened twice for Fanatical bundle game for me.
The store has USD prices so as EUR customer sometimes it is much cheaper things there than on the humble store even with the monthly subscriber bonus.
+whenever I got any problem the IG support solve it always within hours.
Not saying you can't think that it is the worst bundle site, just pointed out that some part of your comment incorrect based on my experiences. For me the worst bundle site (from the ones still alive) is Groupees, then Fanatical (always crap bundles, sometimes same bundles as IG but no happy hour so about 4* more expensive, mystery craps every time only while not a single good bundle). But it also depends on game taste, I like HoGs, B- category horrors, puzzle games, walking simulators, and only IG bundle these kinds of games.

Indiegala is legit but I I have heard from several sources that this site (steamgifts) is a scam.

I, and the dozens of other users I found with similar situations of having our accounts randomly closed (and eventually deleted) with no communication on the matter by IG, would no doubt heartily disagree with that statements of the site being "legit" and "you won't be scammed outright [by them]". You can, however, theoretically compensate fully for this risk just by reliably backing your keys up off of the site immediately after purchasing them.
Likewise, while it's a well-established issue with the site, the percentage of users it has affected is incredibly small when compared to the overall consumerbase for the site, so the actual risk of winning that particular lottery should be fairly small to begin with (and as it seems to almost always come as a result of contacting IG's support, you generally have some idea of when you'd need to be better prepared for the risk).
There was also a period where they weren't replacing broken keys (despite it being due to a known issue with the current site interface update they'd done at the time), but that seems to have been a one off. They also have a history of Happy Hour bugs, but they do tend to make up for those (with bonus keys typically thrown in) whenever you contact them about the matter, so that element is mostly dismissible.
The revoked keys I'm fairly sure were all developer-end issues that IG had no responsability for, much like similar issues with certain developer revocations on Groupees. The site definitely doesn't have the best reputation as far as focusing on quality, however; On the other hand, that's something you can easily address at the user end of things (ie, by not purchasing anything you're at all iffy about).
SG is a fairly vocal community, so you should be able to get good feedback within any bundle's given SG thread [and remember to thank Shakti for her efforts along the way!] if you're ever in a situation where you're unsure whether a bundle's games are worth getting or not.
As a side note, their trading and giveaway sections [the latter not to be confused with IG's occasional giveaway promotions] have always had exceptionally bad reputations, as much due to poor design as to lacking any sort of staff oversight, so it's probably best to avoid such areas of the IG site.

Hello guys,
I wanted to ask if https://www.indiegala.com/ is legit, and worth looking into.
Are the deals good, or not even worth looking into?
