That is something I hadn't thought about... interesting. Would that apply to the simplest and most trivial things?
If I google it I only get anime-related things, do you have a more complete definition?

it can effectively be anything
for a "medium" explanation there is that :
"Events happening in Alternate universes or timelines or dimensions, by themselves, are pretty tricky to keep track of, so let's up the ante by having them interact!
For some reason or another, two or more universes, or timelines, or dimensions, came to be connected. They may exchange all sorts of information - including causal information - by virtue of the existence of the connection, analogous to heat flowing between something hot and something cold, connected by a piece of metal. This can cause events which happened in one universe, timeline or dimension to happen in the other; sometimes the event does not need to play out exactly the same in the other as in the original, as long as the net effect remains the same. The "original" supplies the "cause" to the alternate's "effect" via the connection between them; in a nutshell, "it happened in the other world because it happened here". The Causality Conductor refers to that connection - which may be a phenomenon or a MacGuffin - through which causality "flowed" across worlds."
the fact you see a lot of anime related things is probably due to the visual novel "Muv-luv unlimited" and its sequel "muv luv alternative" where the story revolve (and have been born in some way) around a causality conductor :D (and its also the reason it came to my mind when created this poll haha)

Ooh, I see. I'm imagining it like when someone's timeline crosses with one from another universe and this other person mentions something that will change what this one would do (if that makes any sense) or that things are dropped from other universe into another and it affects it in some way... right?
I'll be adding "Muv-luv unlimited" to the list of anime to watch someday. Thanks for explaining n.n

i don't think there is an anime "muv luv unlimited" as it is a visual novel, but i know there is a Muv-luv anime wich is a bit different, i have to see it as well since i only played the Visual novel so far :D

For NV it may have been a bug from steam, i think i spent more around 60 hours on it. I don't remember but i think i also have game completed with 0.1 hours of time displayed >.> And generally i tried not to kill things that don't try to kill me :D
For the reason i whitelisted you, it was probably after i noticed your profile after your GTA IV complete edition public giveaway, I like people who share games that i think are good + the different things like your ratio etc^^ I don't have fixed predefinite criteria to add people on whitelist, the hardest part is to be notice as there is hundreds of thousands users^^
