Is there a way to restart this? I didn't know how it worked at first and got disoriented.

Sorry, I don't think so, but you can always ask on chat.

Oh well. For day 2 I will remember that clues disappear once you solve them.

From day 2 onwards I'll put the questions(clues) in the description at the chest locations as well, so you can always recheck those.

I was not rushing it! But knowing how it will works after the day 1 crosswords I had an idea of how to proceed to do it relatively fast.

I don't understand what's going on here. I've already been at 4 of the coordinates indicated by the treasure chest and there is nothing special about any of them.
Comment has been collapsed.
Oh, I suppose that's the crosswords part? Still feel like I'm missing something since some of the clues are too generic to even hazard a guess.
Comment has been collapsed.
Some might be hard with no extra letters, but others should be solvable and give you extra letters for the others.
You also have a/the scroll(s) you can use to see the first letter of an answer.
You lose 2 energy with each wrong guess(6 on the treasure chest/10 on day 1) and regain 1 energy every minute. With a starting energy of 25, you could make some guesses at some.

Thanks for the additional information. It all fell into place and I was able to complete Day 1. The Up and Left words really hurt my brain but I understand why you did it given the physical layout of the dungeon. I think the subsequent days will be easier for me (and others) after getting the hang of one of your dungeons. Neat puzzle idea!

Solved completely. Great one! :)
I must admit it took some time to figure out that words could go from bottom to top and from right to left in this crossword (I was somehow sure they should go from top to bottom and left to right).
Anyway, I made it with the help of pen and paper :)

haha I do it with cross pc to have view on gameofSwords and the grid I complete! but pen and paper still the best way to do it!

Nothing is better than a good old piece of paper and a pen for strategical planning and proper tasks solving!
I also plan each Game of sWords on paper before actually starting to make it, I already have quite a nice collection of such "plans" :)

Yeah, it helps to fill the grid somewhere, easier to see the letters.
As for being able to go from right to left/bottom to top, that is why some are on the right and bottom of the grid, and say left or up.
But I can see how it can be confusing if you don't make that connection from the start. :)

A statistical bump:
Day 1 has 62 players and 9 solvers.
Day 2 has 24 players and 8 solvers.

It sure is, but better for the ones that do solve it, very few entries. :)

What's up with these people always getting the treasures from puzzles but never solve them obviously as they don't spend enough EP?
1 nickchanger 1 0/0
2 Errise 1 1/0
3 Mikalye 1 4/0

The only way to lose EP is by giving a wrong answer or checking a wall that is not a hidden pathway. So it is possible to solve it without spending EP.

Hmm, I still smell something fishy because it's not a one-off thing. It's the same people almost every GoS puzzle I've seen.

And they also are people who are not unknown for solving puzzles or making some nice puzzles too. They know how to use their brains for sure and it's not a surprise for me to have them with no EP or few EP spent.

I just finished Day 2 with 0 energy used. It's easy to do; I just navigate the outside walls, gathering all of the clues without answering any. Once I have a complete picture of the dungeon, I know the length of all the answers and can start answering questions in order from easy to hard, using the letters in the confirmed answers to make subsequent questions even easier.

Why not an extraterrestrial robot? As for my nickname, let's all thank this jerk who took mine and then hasn't logged into SG in 4 years: https://www.steamgifts.com/user/KotA

S/he's online on Steam right now, I'm gonna yell at him/her for you -- don't worry, the universe will correct itself.
P.S. Isn't linking someones SG user page considered calling out? Wouldn't want you suspendz0red.

Day 4 is open to explore, the prize is Frozen Cortex.

Bump for solved through day 3! Anything special planned for those who solve all of the crosswords? Perhaps an ITH to check each of the daily treasure chest answers?

For now, nothing for solving all, but day 7 will be bigger, or just 2 in 1.
I don't have anything worthwhile to offer solving all 7, since I gift my leftover bundle keys. After this I will only have a few games left with bad reviews, which I doubt would be a worthy bonus for solving all. :P

Each day for the next seven days I will post a crossword puzzle for you to solve, in the form of a GoSW Puzzle.
Every puzzle will be open for 3 days.
The daily prize is a bundled game.
It could help to write down the answers in the (in-game)notebook or somewhere else, since they will be needed. This will be less needed from day 2 onwards.
The edges of the grid are marked with walls or purple lines on the map, so the places with the descriptions are not part of the grid and don't need letters in them.
You can also travel to an already visited location by clicking on the map, as long as there is no chest(red square) there.
Day 1: Super Mega Neo PugFixed: Small error on the treasure chest: it says X9Y10, X8Y9, X7Y7, X6Y8, X6Y8, X5Y11, X4Y11 when it should say X9Y10, X8Y9, X7Y7, X6Y8, X5Y11, X4Y11.
Day 2: A-GentsDay 3: Holy Potatoes! A Weapon Shop?!Day 4: Frozen CortexDay 5: TransOcean: The Shipping CompanyDay 6: FireDay 7: The Masterplan and Dreamfall ChaptersFixed: Typo at X6Y8 the last word is unemployment.
Fixed: The answer for the chest at X11Y15 is not the right one. Looking into that on how to solve.
Extra info
Day 7 is the only puzzle I created myself, the other six I got from a game called Daily Crosswords by Pyrosphere.
You can check Google Play and iTunes if you can't quit just yet.
Some more GAs
The last puzzle has just closed, but 5 new public GAs have opened up, so you can check my profile to see which ones.
