I loved Binding of Isaac when I first played it. I loved the Wrath of the Lamb DLC. I loved Rebirth. Afterbirth was a big let down and Afterbirth+ seems even worse (I haven't bought it so I can't say from first hand experience). I feel like the game is too grindy now. Maybe that's just because what I want/expect from games has changed since I first started playing Isaac or maybe it's because Afterbirth didn't provide enough content to not make it feel like a grind. I don't hate how Isaac is now, but I'm not as much of a fan as I used to be.

Just Cause 2. Until I saw Just Cause 3 is a mess (while Mad Max is not). It just turned me off from the Just Cause franchise.

...but what's the fault with Just Cause 2? If JC3 is bad then that reflects on the individual game, not the franchise. Both 1 and 2 are solid games, and 3 would be good if it were not for the numerous game breaking bugs that plague the PC release.

Hey, sorry for late reply. No fault on JC 2. I've had my fun with Just Cause 2. Yes, they're solid games.
The problem lies with me. Like I said, JC 3 left a bad taste. When I booted JC 2 I'll be reminded of JC 3.
You see...I was hyped. I didn't keep my expectation in check. Then reality sets in. I was let down.
At least I learned a valuable lesson. No more hype.

Wouldnt really say I hate the game now, more like disappointed, but I LOVED World of Warcraft. But I couldnt stand how my hunter played after the Legion changes. I had plenty of alts, but none of them were classes Id want to main for an expansion, and I ended up losing interested and unsubbing. Then reading about how overboard they went with RNG gear and legendaries completely turned me off. I had enough frustrating dealing with WoD RNG, even more of it in Legion... no thanks. Ended up uninstalling a couple months ago

Yeah, I played Leauge religiously for many years 2000+ hours but the community and toxicity made me uninstall it. it was hard but worth it.

Should have played Heroes of Newerth instead, severely less toxic and infinitely better.

Not really. Some of my favorite games I eventually quit and left behind, but never had a reason to hate any.

Smite. I used to be absolutely absorbed in smite but somewhere in the middle of 2015, I got real sick of playing it. Mostly because the community went from being small, and mostly friendly people to very large and drowning in players from other mobas like Dota 2 and League of Legends. The community went from being pretty good to awful in a short period of time when it picked up in popularity. Then the company behind the game, Hi-Rez, started making overall bad decisions for too many things. I took a huge break from it for a year and only because of friends have I more recently went back to playing it. I wouldn't be playing it otherwise if not for friends, but I still hold a grudge or deep background hate for the game in general, community and the company choices. I suppose it's all a personal opinion and look at the game.

Happened to me with Payday 2. I've dropped about 750 hours and 60$ for all the DLC, so I consider it a good value for my buck. But they do not stop releasing MORE paid content, and very little in terms of actual reasons why I should go back the game when I've done roughly all the missions on the highest difficulty, already unlocked everything there is to unlock, and am generally tired playing the same heists time and again. They do give the occasional free heist but at this point I'm just fed up.

I realy loved the game Epic Duel but after some years of playing it I quit it for good because I like the idiot I am, realized it very late that the game is 200% Pay to Win, I enjoyed the game but match after match ( it's a 1vs1 and 2vs2 PVE and PVP game) it became painfully obvious I'm going to keep losing to these varium buying pieces of shits that owned me every single time, not to mention it was grindy as hell and respecing your skills was absurdly expensive, I got sick of playing a power house or something, wanted to try a supporter that gives strenght and heals, it was costly and it wasn't worth it because teammates were always low leveled Ill equipped noobs while we were paired up against varium monstrosities..

I loved TF2 but I began hating it for ruining the Fists of Steel which became useless, many more flaws and nerfs came that ruined all the fun, the game got stale bland and boring, I've given up entirely at this point on it.

I'd be lying if I gave up on Crimecraft and hate it for what the publishers (not the devs because they left) have done to this game, ruined it to the point where everyone has left it,but I've merely taken a forced leave on it. I want to return to it because I have too much love and nostalgia and it is a fantastic game, it just got fucked over by removals, entire changes, nerfs, imbalances, etc. And with the devs gone and out of business, no new content that would redeem the game will ever happen unless those idiots sell the game to another dev company,, but even if they did, which one....

I gave up on the Starcraft 2free edition because I was a unimproving noob and all my favourite old units weren't included like the medics and Goliath's or the sexy Valkyries , made me hate it and Blizzard.

Getting near the point of hating Heroes of Newerth, the game has changed alot of things I liked in the timespan of 3 years I haven't been able to play, rampage change is a hidden nerf, alot of hero portraits are changed and look uglier and different, freaky new heroes, map looks too similar to Dota 2 now, all the awesome classic music taken out, interfaces before matches have changed, more hero nerfs, still a hard game but still good, default hero looks have changed like Bramble who doesnt look like a plant anymore with those new legs, and mods...there's more good things too but I dunno, just doesn't feelas good as it once was, ihate changes....but il still play it as it still is the best MOBA.

I used to love Speedrunners, but when the leagues were introduced it went from relaxing to stressfull, with a substantially worse matchmaking.
Also cheaters.

That game had so much potential, and I had so much fun with it... But now it's ruined for me.

Not on PC that I can think of... there have been several mobile games that start off free, and then gradually increase the amount of pay-to-win and in-game grinding, trying to push you to buy their "coins" or whatever... I always uninstall them, never give them a penny for that :P

Lost Planet 3.

Too many shitty dialogues, too much vague details, forcing me (or any player) to "suspend reality"... I know it's a sci-fi game, but I mean... the details... Nothing in that game made the world or the atmosphere credible or realistic. Anytime I'm feeling "into it" some stupidity happens. And then, the bugs, the glitches and how stupid the game is.

Unistalled.

Battlefield 3, due to numerous unchecked aim-botters and wall/floor hacks.
I wasn't that sad when I uninstalled it, though. Got my money's worth.

I deleted Burnout Paradise, cause after a while I realised that the open world and singleplayer races were poorly designed. The multiplayer is definately fun though, but it's pretty abandoned, and half the hosts don't know how to host and just end up on freedrive forever.

World of Warcraft - got married and found I didn't have time to commit to the game.
Final Fantasy VII played it so much I know it inside out. (Recently started FFXIII and must say I am not impressed compared to earlier games in the series). (First played FFVII after hiring it for 2 days - played it through with a friend trading off sleep and eating as required)
Another game I can't recall the name of - hard drive died when I was about 3/4 of the way through and I never bothered to reinstall.
In recent times I have also started deleting games on completion to make room for other games figuring I can always install again if I want to replay the game.
