WOW, what happened here?
Welcome in Delete-Ville. ^^
So perhaps just a positive bump (which will not get deleted ^^)

Two of those were my comments not posting in the correct spot, lol. Two were someone asking to join with bundled games in their proposal. Not sure about any others. :)

Hey there! Thanks for the application, but we feel the games you posted wouldn't work in our group. Have a nice evening.

I would like to join the group.
And I haven't done any giveaways here till now; I never found a reason to. Though if you're interested in checking out the games I did giveaways with before, you can take a look using this link: https://steamcommunity.com/groups/akisgiveaways
I created it solely to keep track of games and stuff I gave away.
I got familiar with the concept not so long ago, so it's about 20+ games only so far (none of which is shovelware)
My first three gifts for the first three months in the group could be-
Some additional-
I could go for games like Horizon Forbidden, Persona 4, Tomb Raider remastered (or any other latest release like KCD2 but I prefer to do expensive giveaways after 'trial' period)

You should get some practice giving away non bundled games here on Steam Gifts. Shouldn't take you too long to reach the requisite minimum level for this group, and a general understanding of this group's expectations from its members.
If you're curious about what our group giveaways look like, while you are levelling up on here on SG, or are just wanting a better sense of our expectations in general, you can always reference our group giveaway page here.

So, who are we looking for?
Generous people who love to give games away and play the gifts they receive
Users who are at least lvl 5 on SteamGifts
People who already gifted unbundled games, which are fit for the group.
People who try and play their wins and don’t use those games only to farm cards.

okay, Deliberate Taco already copied whats posted in the starting post (you really should have read that ;) ), but just to be clear:
You need to be level 5!
You need to be able to gift PREMIUM UNBUNDLED NEW Games.
Games like:
So, as soon as you're level 5, think long and hard if you're able to do this.
And btw: the giveaways you mentioned above wouldn't make it. Either they were bundled before or not new enough/have enozgh wishlist entrys to get the entrys needed.
Have a nice day!

Nice.
I might give this a try later.
I'm too new for this yet.
I'm also trying to create a friendly group for gifting or giving things away to special people I met along the way.
I usually prefer giving away money to Steam friends, but a game is also doable.
I'm thinking about how I'm going to be doing those things, as there's very few givers and a lot of takers.
The minute I talk about "Steam Wallet", "Giveaway" or creating a group for gifting games I get a ton of people liking and following me all of a sudden and out of nowhere.
It's crazy 🤣
This makes me see and realize how ungrateful people can potentially be towards the person giving away stuff.
They take everything for granted.
And just considering giving away 5€ to a friend on Steam, costs me a lot of effort and whatnot (and people don't realize this).
If I'm going to giveaway 5€ to someone, it better be someone I really trust and have known for a long time.
Unless, of course, I wanna do giveaways for growing social numbers and whatnot (which right now, isn't the reason I wanna do giveaways for).
That's it.
Good luck with the group 😊
I really hope you have some nice people in there, not just "ungrateful" takers 😊

Ungratful couldn't stay in the group as we have strict rules everyone has to follow. I'm nearly 5 years in there and for:
1: we have rules who can join (and if the rules are not met you can't come in), and
2: the rules will be checked and if someone doesn't gift his things he isn't allowed to win, if he doesn't play the games he must gift one(OR MORE) of the HIGH wishlisted games in the group, AND if there is someone who trys to leech/circumvent the rules, the one will be kicked out (only happened once in 5 years, the difficult part is to get in).
We are a small group, but everyone is dedicated to the rules.
And we like each other!
Akatsuki is LOVE!

Oh that's nice.
I'm creating a Steam group for friends and people I know either from the internet or real life.
And yes, I know if I go forward with it, I'll have to create strict rules: I can't be the only one giving things away (that would defeat the purpose of it: which is to try to help one another and give something special to someone we trust, once in a while).
I prefer giving things away to people I know I can trust will put my money to good use.
So yeah, if start a giveaway here I'll make sure that only people with one of the highest levels can join: I believe people that have gifted and contributed so much, deserve a chance to win more than anyone else.
Also another possibility, it to only allow giveaways for people in my whitelist.
This way I can more easily prevent takers from taking advantage of my generosity.
Yes, generosity costs people money.
I only feel comfortable buying someone something, if they are able to reciprocate what I've done for them.
Sure, it doesn't have to be something huge or big, but they must reciprocate in some way.
Yes, that's it.

Our little group was born 6 years ago.
During these years Akatsuki and its members have been growing, changing and getting better.
We love giving away unbundled games and we love to play the games we win.
N.b.: Unlike previous recruitments which lasted only 7 days, this one will remain open for an unlimited period.
What's so special about Akatsuki?
Akatsuki is a non-ratio group, based instead on a three-months cycle basis.
For the first two months, members create mandatory monthly gifts.
On the third month, we introduce ways to mitigate the luck/misfortune mechanics, trying to "help" unlucky members who have won less during the cycle (they won't have to create gifts for this third month) and "asking for more" to lucky members as well (they will have to create more gifts). Also, In order to avoid extreme luck cases, we have limitations to the maximum number of games you can win in a cycle (8 gifts max).
Finally and most importantly, one of our primary goals is seeing people playing the games they get in our group. We do not want that people enter giveaways only to get a +1 in their library, or because they simply like to gamble and no more than that, or to farm cards or similar reasons. We want winners to play (or convincingly try) the games they win!
Annual cycle format
Akatsuki has a fixed cycle format where normal cycles are spaced out by special events and a month of general pause in August. Here we display the current structure of a standard year in our group:
January - February - March (Cycle 1)
April - May - June (Cycle 2)
July (Summer event)
August (Pause)
September - October - November (Cycle 3)
December (Santa event)
The Summer event and the Secret Santa event are optional and members decide whether to participate or not. After the events play out, cycles resume normally.
Special events have specific rulesets that will be published when related announcements will be posted on the Steam group forum.
Here are some GAs you can find in our group, this month:
Nobody Wants to Die
Hyper Light Breaker
The Last of Us™ Part II Remastered
Eternal Strands
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Avowed
Rise of the Ronin
FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH
SONIC X SHADOW GENERATIONS
ENDER MAGNOLIA: Bloom in the Mist
Marvel's Spider-Man 2
ANIMAL WELL
Life is strange: Double Exposure
Sumerian Six
Hades 2
Riviera: The Promised Land
and many more, you can check all games here
Please read our candidacy requirements and follow carefully the instructions. If you fail to do so, we won't evaluate your candidacy and you won't get a reply.
So, who are we looking for?
We are also mindful of the fact that our members buy each gift directly, whether on Steam, Humble, Fanatical or other officially recognized vendors. We don't accept members who would be providing their monthly gifts via licenses acquired from developers/publishers/your curation/etc...to do so would be counter to our overall premise, and would be decidedly unfair to all our members, who do abide by said rule.
Experienced SteamGifters already know this group and are invited to check our rules here below and see if they would like to apply.
Have you never been part of a group like this and/or you have never given away good unbundled games but you are willing to?
Well, you can always apply and we will have a chat, trying to see if you are truly made for our little group :-)
In the past we have given nice opportunities to new recruits who are now solid members of Akatsuki!
All candidate members MUST advance their proposal together with ideas about their first 3 possible gifts for their 3 first months in the group and write them down here (otherwise we won't take into account their submission).
