Some Summer Sale Achievements have been revealed?

The last post from the forum at ''http://steamcheeves.com/active.html'' is from december , so the games listed there at the moment are probably not the ones that will be this summer sale

Psychonauts and Spiral Knights were necessary for last winter holiday's sale.

Most likely not, there were 5-6 achievements every day in the Winter Sale. And I'm missing Cargo, Orcs, RO2, and Dredmor =(

Well, they do repeat the Indie games sometimes, and if they were last years why doesn't the site just list all of last years?

But, click on one, and it will say "See you later today?"

SteamCheeves had new achievements the last sale before the sale started. They have this time too and I see no reason why they wouldn't have them this time too. Also last Thursday of June is today, summer sales started on that day for the last 2 years

Steam selects (and adds) new achievements into some games. Then each day you get new achievements to complete from different games (and those games are usually on sale that day). When you complete it and get the achievement you get entry for bigger Steam giveaway or points (or coal in last Winter sale). In last summer sale you could spend points to buy few selected DLCs or full game (Alien Breed last summer sale) or TF2 items and some other stuff. In winter sale you could craft coal and get full game or coupons (mostly coupons).

It's more the download quotas that are the pain in the bum.

Last time around, the achievements got added early. Which is why everybody was completing them before the sale. This time around I dunno what their reasoning is but good chance it has something to do with new achievements being added somehow.

Data mining my friend. It happened on previous sales and while it may just be speculations at first it's a good indicator of what's to come and give you chance to prepare. Some achievements are dead giveaways purely based on their names.

Kinda. you complete Achievement's in games and get tickets. you use 3 ticket's to get a dlc or a game. there is probably going to be only 1 game though.

indeed i feel sorry for those wasting bandwidth downloading these games when they probably have nothing to do with the summer sale.

I did the winter one... twice. Yep, once for a friend. He found it amusing that I spent 3 hours trying to get that crap, and I felt pretty crap because at home I've got mine in about 30 minutes. Anyway, I'd be up for a new one for SMB.
