Aye, but it's so much easier to type in 3 and 0 rather than 2,9,dot,9,7.

agreed, its the creator's choice and the more its rounded the more it takes away from the reward others receive for donating that much or more. If its really too big a deal then contribute more lol I dont really make to much money but I've still been able give back.

I do plan on contributing further (making another giveaway in the coming week) but it's a recurring problem. As most games are sold at $x.99 and most giveaways are set at whole values the contributor will nigh on always be just below a whole value. Perhaps only round $x.9x values? I don't know, was just a little suggestion after all. :)

Not enough is not enough, whether it's $30 too little or $0.03 too little.
Keep the current system, it's great.

I disagree. Suppose we do round things up/down. Then if you have $29.49, you get rounded down to $29, and still miss the $30.00 mark by just $0.01, which is just as bad. Better leave things as they are. There will ALWAYS be somebody who will JUST miss the mark, no matter what.

So it's a tad saddening when you see a $30 contributor giveaway and you have a gifts sent value of $29.97. :( Might it be an idea to round this value to the nearest dollar? I've seen a few giveaways circumventing this by setting the contribution value to $19.80 or whatever but surely this would be a more permanent solution.
