I actually thought it would take about 5-6 days to solve everything if I didnt give out any hints. I wanted to give the people lagging behind a chance to follow the puzzles to the conclusion. In the end, I just gave out entirely too many hints for the first few giveaways. For example, I am almost positive that Stage 1 would have taken a couple more hours if I hadn't given out the RRLRRRLR so quickly. Also Stage 4 would have taken at least a day without hints.
Well, anyways, I'm not giving out hints so liberally anymore, so I expect the last 2 stages to take another 2 days. I really need to extend it so that the giveaways actually START before you guys finish all of it haha

He seems to have figured the vast majority of the puzzles, or at least all the main posts I've read are made by him, to which I have to take my hat off to.
I have no idea how you lot have figured out the answers. The Steam Gifts hive mind scares me.

Bump! One question left on what looks like it might be the last quiz. Anyone who has played a bunch of PC games (probably older ones) and has a good memory for music is encouraged to make their way to Stage 9. We have cake*!
*Not really. Sorry.

10 is just the default value on the converter. You can change it to whatever you want. You need to switch it for each letter you shift, using the appropriate Final Fantasy game number (Mecorx posted the full list of games on the giveaway page). The tool I provided does not work for the 2 numbers in the pattern, but you should be able to figure those out with simple addition.

I just double-checked it and it still works fine (thought they might have released a new DLC or something :p). Some points that might be tripping you up: if you're using the control+f trick to skip through the list, be mindful of the fact that the base game itself costs $39.99, so make sure you don't accidentally count that. Have you adjusted the capitalization pattern to match the one he gave, and performed the addition necessary for the 8th one?

The list was completely changed in the past day, so if anyone is still stuck on this part, I just updated the puzzle.

Sure, accepted answers are:
All of the other quizzes followed this format. Q1 was always a NES game, Q2 was a N64 game, etc.
