Hi there,

I am wondering what we have to achieve to be able to level up?
What are the differences for all level?
I think I red somewhere every time you want to level up you have to giveaway two times the last one.
Is it true?

I have given games equivalent of 100 dollars but I am still level 1.
What should I do?

Thanks

So if I giveaway a game which was bundled before, I will get less points to my cv even I didn't buy it from a bundle, isn't it?

yeah, 15% for bundled games.

if a game reaches 95% discount it will be bundled (sometimes it's not on that list so it will be retroactively added). it affects all regions (RU price is under 5% of the USA price = bundled).
you can install enhanced steam to check region prices.

Best way is to giveaway non-bundled items right? Cause I gave away bundled items and didn't make it to lvl 2 after 6 of them. My 7th was not considered a bundle, and it leveled me to 3.

So I imagine giving away items not on the bundle list helps.

You are now 60.58% to lv 2. Keep it on.

I can't say for sure, but I heard in order to get to level 10, you have to let your mother-in-law move into your house.

yeah, but you can kick her out again a few days later. you will keep the level. it's like with those free games. you susbcribe to a YT channel and cancel it shortly after you got the game. ^^

Gift non bundled games. Power level up with Steam's Weeklong deals, give away ~90% off games (but check if they haven't been bundled before because of cheaper regions and stuff).

90% is the new 95% now ever since the ruble fell off a cliff :/.

Best to go with 75-85%. Or you know .... just games you want to share :D

Some 90% games have not reached 95% of it's original price even in Russia :)

True for some but it is just safer to stick with 85% unless the want to do some leg work.

Yeah, I don't have time for that. Someone should do a guide or something :D

Yes,
And all these info should be in FAQ too.

Well it constantly change, so it would be pointless to put those infos in the FAQ.

Even 85% isn't always safe (not that you were saying it is). Russian price being more than 66% cheaper than US is not uncommon. Take SpaceCom for example (although this one is further complicated by the four-pack price, not sure how that affects things).

I can only assume this will be added to the bundle list. EDIT... In fact it already is, and it looks like it was this 85% deal that triggered it. Archive reveals a fair number of multi copy region restricted giveaways were made.

That is what usually draws attention to Shobo/mods when it comes to these cases. I wouldn't be surprised if Shobo starts eyeing steamdb or another website like it to see if anything will be added to the list thanks to the falling Ruble.

Even 85% is risky now. Just in this past Halloween sale Bioshock Triple Pack, Aarklash: Legacy, and Divinity: Dragon Commander were all offered at 85% off but hit over 95% off in Russian prices! :P

The Witcher and The Witcher 2 were safe only because the titles are restricted from sale in that region.

Looks like 80% is the safe cut off then. At this rate, we won't be able to get anything over 50% off :P.

You have to wait that the winner marked the game received; he have 7 days to do so. And the numbers of entries whether it be 30 or 1000 doesn't change anything, as long as you have a minimum of 5 entries you will get some CV.
