This is such a good bundle, but I'm skipping because I own everything I'm interested in, including Mass Effect on Origin. That game put me under house arrest for a whole month when I played the trilogy all back to back.

This is an amazing month, one of the best I can remember. It's a little disheartening to see so many gamers caring about the launcher. In my mind it's meaningless, it's all about the game.

In a twitch stream while they talked about the new humble bundle late January i think, they said they are experimenting / testing with 10 games or even 8 but of higher quality.
So i guess depending on the reception of this bundle (how many people will buy it) and compared to the previous and next one they'll have an idea about what people want.
Where are we heading? Who knows, hopefully somewhere better and not worse :D

I'm personally a lot happier with 8 games where I'm super interested in 5 and curious about 2 or 3, than getting 12 where some are questionable early access games and most of the games are just "good". Even with this amount of bundles, time to play games is much more of an issue than getting more and more OK games.
Personal difference in taste surely exists, but one can't expect brand new 50-60€ games for 10€. People who buy games at full or even half price on sales will likely get disappointed, as those games reach into bundles. It's still a great deal for people who wait with buying

Thanks for sharing the information. I honestly don't see that much of a quality-boost. It is sure better then some month before, but we also had 12 game bundles with a compareable quality.
I hate when they bring it to customer-decision based on selling numbers. Ether you boycott it or you agree? Meh!

The deal only comes up for Black Friday and at the end of the year during Christmas. Last time I think you had to cancel your sub.

Just launched Origin on my PC, it loads fast enough, faster than EGS for sure, so at least it's functional and not annoying to use for just launching games. I'm surprised such a non-obstacle is a deal breaker for so many people here,
Well, other than that - ME trilogy, Desperados 3, Man of Medan, and Red Solctice 2 on their own make this one of the best monthlies in recent history in my humble ^^ opinion. The rest truly doesn't matter to me that much. Naturally, rebundles and non-Steam keys in the bundle are part of the worrying trends, but I'm too wowed right now to be worried about that.

the steam version of ME.LE is the same of origin but there are those who want to pay full price to have anyway the game on steam. I sincerily don't know why but it's their business

I think, it's mostly because of achievements. But I don't get it, too. I play a game because of the game, and nothing else.
I'd understand it a bit if there were cards, but afaik there are none for these games. And even if so, these cards never can be sold for the price they pay for having it on Steam if there is a better offer like this.

They're probably referring to the fact that all the latest Ubisoft games are not on Steam. No Assassins Creed: Valhalla, Far Cry 6, Anno 1800, Watch Dogs: Legion, Rider's Republic, Immortals: Fenix Rising and so on.
And a lot of the Ubisoft games of the last years that are on Steam, require the Ubisoft Launcher even when launched from Steam.
People with launchophobia do miss a lot of games :D

That chart includes mobile game revenue which is a whole nother thing and the only reason, why Apple, Google, Zynga and others are in there. And even in that chart Ubisoft is Top 20 which still is big.

anyway i still don't get why Nintendo is so massively popular - i mean isn't like every other game based on Mario? what's he going to do next ride in a kart or be saving Peach for the 1000th time - boring - i mean they are ok but done to death like Pokemon but if it sells it sells i guess but what's Ubisoft got Far cry - boring and Assassins Creed where the only one i liked was China - so people saying they are missing a whole world of great games is just madness - i mean does everyone have every console ever made? no ? why not - your missing out on great games

Origin doesn't bother me. you have to use it anyway to play ME.LE. I have 6 7 launchers installed on my pc. many games are exclusive to other platforms and are not on steam so those with launcherphobia lose too many games
