do you think that old game had better story than the new games ?

No... it depends. All games are different. Some old games used to have amazing story the the others sucked... it's the same with new games.

but I see less good story for new games ... than old games .. but ya it depend on the dev and other things

I think this would have been a better question to lead with, and have the Argonauts question be supplementary. Since I haven't played Rise of the Argonauts, I'll answer this question instead:
For me, the answer to that question would be the games I started playing some time ago, but never finished, like Shining Force, Cyber Knight, Final Fantasy Tactics, Oddworld: Abe's Oddysey, Sutte Hakkun, Elemental Master, Pac Man World, Panzer Dragoon, Galactic Attack, Guardian War, Wing Commander III, Zillion, and Golvellius. I have too many completely unplayed games for me to go back and play a game I've already beaten.

If anyone ever releases a bug-free copy of the Dark Sun games, I would totally play those again. Other than Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines, those were the most fun games I've ever played; unfortunately, they were so buggy that even after dozens of attempts, I've not once successfully fully completed a playthrough. :X
Due to extensive fan support, VtMB, which initially had its own bug issues, is really more polished than most dev-patched games by this point, and is definitely one you should consider if you're looking for older games to play. While it certainly has aged, I still haven't found any game that remotely combines that degree of atmosphere and lore with that degree of freedom of gameplay (though the Dark Sun games are a good runner up, if you're willing to deal with the high risk of game-breaking bugs). Just make sure to install the latest Unofficial Patch (official ones are included), or if you want expanded content, the latest Clan Quest mod (unofficial and official patches are included) before playing VtMB.

I know this question was not for me but I couldn't resist (not a comprehensive list by any means):
From the 80s:
From the 90s:
From the 2000s:
I could play any of these games today and have a blast (I played/re-played most of them in recent years, actually) :)
As for your other question, games had hardly any story at the beginning and they increasingly got more complex on their narrative. The 90s were particularly big on storytelling since Adventure games and RPGs were very big then but there are also nice story driven games nowadays.

I can agree that we have good story like this days too but some dev focus on multilayer game than the story but in the past they were a lot more story line then to day . todays story are most copy cat form older games .
for example we have a lot of zombie game this days that all look like each other back then we had Resident evil and some other zombie game that was not look like each other look at Max Payne games or prince of Persia or Splinter Cell .

yes, couldnt enjoy it. controls were far too controller bound to be really fluid with kb+m. may well be a decent game, but have not redownloaded since getting a controller
Edit: seem to remember all screen tutorials were stuck with xbox pad prompts as well as the game being a chuggy hog on the cpu (for what it is)

I played it on the 360 years ago. I thought it was very bland.

2013 I think, and did liked it. But wasn't a great game.

Yeah. Played it on Xbox 360 a few years back, since I had found it for cheap.
It's not very good. It wasn't overtly bad, but it really doesn't hold up to other games that came out around the same time. It's kinda like the early Bioware RPGs, so I'd suggest playing KotOR or Jade Empire instead.
