Should there be a limit on the amount of CV a user can get for group giveaways?

I think it could cap to something like 50% from single group. Not sure if it's very large issue... As long as they have the games...

I personally could care less about cv. But others treasure it like gold. However I recently hired someone to run my group giveaways and private ones. Is it fair that they don't get cv for a fully public group?

The thing about forcing people to be generous in a specific manner is that... you can't.

Nothing good can come from this thread. I'm closing it. If you suspect feedback fraud, put it in a support ticket. The users doing it need to be punished. Nothing needs to be done about any type of giveaways. That's like responding to a bank robbery by shutting down all the banks and completely wrecking the economy.

My opinion is that group giveaways are contributing to a different community than to the community as a whole. As such, I think that CV should measure your contributions to the SteamGifts community. When people make a public giveaway with a CV requirement, they are saying you must have contributed to the community this much, but group giveaways aren't contributing to the community at all.
