Live Chat usually responds more quickly than it would take to get a response to your thread.

as far as I can remember the chat help is pretty much instant and 1 on 1.

I'm sure you can send a support request by e-mail thru their website but I strongly suggest you to use the chat support.. wait until you have 10 mins if you can't do it now. It's fast and pretty effective, and a lot easier to explain your problem and give them precisions than back and forth e-mails. Good luck !

I'm looking at a 25-30 minute wait estimate on chat. I am not going to be able to have that much time to sit around waiting for them for quite a while.
However, the problem isn't urgent. So I can fire off an email, then wait a few weeks for a reply.

Because I've currently got an issue with it that I need help with. But I don't have time to sit around and wait for chat support but, as this issue relates to account security, I'm also not willing to discuss it in public so the forums, twitter and facebook help options are not acceptable.
