My girlfriend (now ex) made a book for me last Christmas. It contained photos/chat print outs/little things with memories of how we first met and a chronological order of all our memories together. It was a nice big black book with a red heart encrusted on the front and she wrapped it up for me. Was the best gift I ever had.

I'm not a girl, but these sorts of things are the best types of gifts. Perhaps not the best thing you should give your girlfriend (you only met her in September after all), but something for the future to keep in mind. Think about giving her something with a different kind of value (and no, I'm not talking about cock) :P

What about a chain on a hand or necklace, bracelet something, with your names? Maybe a stupid idea, but I don't know.

I bought my girlfriend a cruise to the Bahamas for Xmas so maybe you could do something like that for her. The only bad thing is that the trip isn't until the Spring so if you wanted something to physically hand her on Xmas then that doesn't really work, unless maybe you show her the booking confirmation or something. The upside with a cruise or a trip is that you are guaranteed that she will stick around at least until then because she knows that if she dumps you in the meantime that you'll take a different chick on her vacation.

If you really want to buy her a ring doesn't matter if it is slightly too big it can always be resized :)
