Mine is at 41 right now, trying to keep it under 50 at all times.
If i reach 50 i either buy something from my top 10 or take of the shitty games that i once noticed in the shop and added to check out later.
Also do you have any upcoming releases on there?
I currently have; Banished, Octodad, Child Of Light & Murdered: Soul Suspect.
Though i feel like Child Of Light is gonna be one big dissapointment.

Impossible. By the time you manage to buy all of them, another 245 will have taken their place... it never ends! It's a conspiracy :D

Around 100 games, I use it to remember what games/dlc I'm interested in and eventually buy them (even on other platforms, like xbox) the only annoying thing is that it doesn't autoupdate when you buy a game, really annoying.

Three games. I want Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons as well, but I don't have a controller yet and I don't want someone to spend too much money to gift it to me now when it can only get cheaper in the future.

Nuclear Throne is early acces, so i don't really see it as an upcoming title. But that one is actually on my wishlist too.
Will get it once it's 100% done, Vlambeer also said it will be cheaper then

250(!!)

Normally its around 100-150. I know this is unnusual, im the only person ive seen with so many. Thing is i like all sorts of experiences i savour game mechanics and all the different approachs used more then playing the games.
Adding to that i use steam wishlist to not forget games im not sure i will want, to check later- and to not miss any sales(steam sending e-mails).

During sales my list always increase, checking out cheap games with good reviews that were under the radar- nowadays i find more nice concepts and memorable ideas in indie games then the AAA titles.

I went through your wishlist for a bit and noticed you have Papers, Please on there.
If you like interesting & different indie titles i would put that one at the top of your list immediatly.

About 8 games, because I believe life is about making choices.

That said it always stays around 8, because I add a new one after each buy.

My wishlist used to be HUGE not long ago. I used it as a list to keep track of interesting games, but obviously this got out of control... I found cancelled games and games I already owned when finally decided to clean it up haha xD

Nowadays my wishlist has no more than 40 items. Still a long list, but now it's tidy and (almost) organized.

I had 17, then added Banished. Looks interesting. I too have a habit of adding something I want to research later. I think I had about 40 items at one point - right before the Fall sale and gog's insomnia sale. Consequently, the Winter sale hasn't done much to lighten my list. I figure I have so many games I still need to play that unless there is a crazy good deal, I can wait. I probably have a year's worth of games or more right now (since I usually play them to completion).

I'm also a board gamer but good deals are hard to come across since they are a physical product with a fixed manufacturing cost to produce, so my wishlist for those is much longer and tends to grow faster than it goes down. Too many good games and the best cost a small fortune!

I remember buying Settlers of Catan for about 30-40 euros with some expansions, i can see how that can become a huge money sink if you play a lot of board games.

Yeah, I go through it and adjust things as things come out or I find something I'm more interested in. I only do it every once in awhile when I know my priorities have shifted.

yeah -- good time-killer to avoid actually buying anything.

But buying stuff makes your list shorter so you don't have to organize as much. It's win-win

But even if you buy the item dosen't necessarily mean you have to take it off your wishlist.

57 entries on my list
Currently organised in 4 sections. First 5 games are titles I really want to own. Then I have several classic games sorted by price. Then newer games sorted by price. Last lot is DLCs.

I used to have DLC on it as well but i stopped doing that because the number was getting out of hand.

Yay, for Aliens v.s Predators 2000, back when I was younger I played the demo, and me and my bros would all download it and play online, it was really fun, but the multiplayer was very limited in the demo, and in the single player part of the demo it would never save (cuz it was a demo(duh)). It's an old classical game, but still tons of fun! I wonder if it's ever going to go on sale, I really hope it does.
