For me is like for 54€ I can get a PS4 controller, which is better...and the Steam Controller is not a replacement for a Xbox 360 or Xbox One or PS3 or PS4 controller. It has just one analog Stick, a weird touch "Dpad", and a weird touch "Analog stick", is still nice like general use, specially for games with no controller support and browsing computer.

The real question:
will you waste you money before even Summer Sale begins?

Note: Not available in some regions, such as Russia & CIS, Japan, Brazil and rest South America, etc.

As it was said on internet, it's not a replacement for other controllers, so if someone buys for first time a controller for PC, Steam controller is not the option.

For Xbox 360/One controllers is just plug n play, for PS3/PS4 from Sony is install drivers and emulate Xbox 360, but... for Steam Controller idk, maybe something like set in game camera movement to controller, set keyboard binding to keyboard, etc, what I suppose.

I don't see the need for a controller, other than for driving games or flight simulators.
This one looks like it won't work with either.

If someday I buy that controller, then I hope for cheaper price xd. But it will for sure deliver or could be picked up in Spain, they just didn't included links for every EU country.

For playing the design looks weird :/ but for navigating it looks sweet ... BUT Gaming > Navigating ... so ~

ppl tried playing Dying Light with it on Youtube, conclusion was, this controller was not made for that, but for what I said above.

Already have my xbox controller and it works just fine, they're just way late in the game to release their steam controller.

Sure but these are just ordinary controllers. :) This one is made for playing PC games on controller not console ports. A see many differences what worth that money. :) I think play on this one will be completelly different experience. At least i hope :D

well yeah, but playing fighting games, moving camera in shooters(even if you should play them with keyboard and mouse) unless Capcom games, or moving camera in general is not like better, judging from YouTube videos.

Wow, that's expensive. I got myself a corded 360 controller a few years back for about half that price, and looks like I'll keep using it. I don't mind, it works well enough.

Yeah, gamestop pickup would've been very nice.

But I'll rather pay 12€ extra to be able to use Steam wallet after they fix it. (I assume it's error, since it's 55€ at gamestop).

(Not 100% sure if I'll wait or preorder.)

They considered the richest Europe countries for now, like companies always do sadly, but I think should not be a problem shipping it to Easter Europe, at least in near future. But I'm pretty sure they won't forget about Poland, because Gaming there is kinda advanced.

They still have to include it for tons of regions more, like Oceania, part of Asia, etc.

The concept is good but the design itself looks weird.I think Xbox controllers will be always dominating pc market so valve need to concentrate on releasing Half life 3 instead of releasing some things no-one EVER requested (Steam os,steam console,steam controller,....etc)

Don't care about the controller, but the Link would be veeerrry nice. When I'd like to play some local co-op with friends/family I have to move my entire computer (M+B too) into a different room, and that gets very annoying.
