That;s not how it works though, if for example a game would become free (or bundled) at 4th of Feb on 18:05 and you gave it away before that date, nothing changes to your CV, if you made a giveaway after that date there is a chance it didn't get a status update yet and only then you can lose CV after the giveaway ended because they get added to the free (or bundled) list manually and so doesn't always happen right away.

This can only happen if a game was bundled / became free before a giveaway started. Games are added to the corresponding lists manually and obviously not exactly the same moment a game's value is reduced, so it may look like a game is devalued after a giveaway, but it actually isn't.
