[NOTE: This Steam-only game comes with one key for yourself and two keys to give out to your friends, each of which have additional bonus keys attached.]
So from Indie Royale u Get Key For 1 Game for you and 4 for friend ( U have 2 gift send to 2 friend ant they can sent it again but only 1 freind per gift.) So In The Ship u got 5 games for you and 4 friends ;D

Ship is gonna be the new FS and Lucid. Keys everywhere! Ninjas begin!

I know. I meant for the 3 keys from IR at the start, then I guess those ppl might try to do a illegal giveaway with the giftables that generate from those keys once activated.
Comment has been collapsed.
you only get one key from the bundle, then when you activate it you get two gifts. at least that's what happened for me.

Oh...this threw me off The Ship for: steam (pc) - includes 2 extra giftable Steam keys! So I guess the original 1 key unlocks 2 giftables in the inventory and when those 2 giftables are activated they each net another 1 giftable each. It's like this.

Any body that was intending on 'cashing in' on The Ship giveaways getting that sinking feeling?
I'm not even going to buy IRG bundle so can't go 'cashing in' on the giveaways.

Indie Royale Graduation Bundle is live now, it ends in 6 days and 20 hours.

So I guess what you're saying is that the ship has sailed? There were a titanic number of giveaways? Those people contributing the game to get rid of it just saw their plan hit an iceberg? Those giveaways were as annoying as ship? There giveaways hit so fast that they all were in a row(boat)? Steamgifts' waters just put these giveaways on the choppy-block? You just sank their battleship?

Oh, I forgot about the anniversary! Maybe they were just trying to captain a new trend on such a flagship website.

well, I might get a ship complete key then if I am lucky :P

Awhhh... I was actually hoping that The Ship giveaways would Skyrocket because of the bundle, FInally I would get a chance of getting it :(
I would get the bundle ($5 is nothing) but my parents dont let me use their Credit Card no matter what (Sadly) so I depend on giveaways & Doing pretty much whatever to get a hold of a game (Christmas event in Steam was AMAZING for me<3)
I guess that Im never gonna get The Ship :\

I've have The Ship complete pack in my inventory from the Steam winter coal thing. I couldn't decide whether to give it away or activate it. Can I give away the one I already had in my inventory once the bundle is over?
And BTW, is The Ship key from the bundle the complete pack (single and multi player) or just MP?

I don't understand... Those extra copies of Ship are supposed to be given away. That's what they're for. There isn't any other use for them. I thought the policy about not submitting games from the bundle was supposed to protect the developers, because the bundles are sold as whole for a reason to prevent people splitting the bundles getting only what they want and lowering the sales. But here they actually offer the copies you're supposed to give away! It's not as much a part of the bundle, but a standalone bonus. It's not something you can only have if you have the bundle as whole. The extra copies come standalone with no other bundled games with them!!! Why does the policy apply in this case too? It's ridiculous.

Agreed. The bundle provided extra copies of The Ship key with the intention that you will give them away. Therefore, it doesn't seem like they're really part of a bundle, and subject to usual bundle rules, when they want you to give away those keys. So I'm not sure I fully understand why they cannot be submitted here. Since the Indie Royale Graduation bundle sale is over now, could we get a clarification on this? Thanks.

Because it floods the site with pages upon pages of the same giveaway.

They're allowed, though personally I'd have held off another month for letting The Ship giveaways come back.

True, and I saw The Ship in the giveaway creation list, so I thought it was OK now. But the original post also says:
you may not submit individual "keys" from indie bundles, but this is not a loophole to submit the additional giftable copies received from the bundle
which to me makes it sound like submitting the extra keys given in the bundle, that are intended to be given away, is not allowed. That's why I wanted to check and get confirmation on whether it's OK to submit the extra Ship keys here.

In my opinion something has to be done about them. They're pretty much a free pass for contributor giveaways of $40 ($39.98 to be exact) for a much smaller amount.

The original purchaser only gets 2 copies to give away, not four. So they can only get $20 worth of contributor credit, right? The other 2 copies come from the first two (1 copy each), and could be given away by the people who received the first two copies. As for the contributor giveaways, people could always raise the minimum on ones they create. And I think people buy things on sale and give them away to get credit for a higher value regularly -- isn't that happening with the Magicka Collection right now? I doubt that everyone has spent the full amount of money that they've given away here.

Most of the giveaways seem to be the complete packs that are worth $19.99.

Yes, I know. But seeing that IndieGala happy hour lets you buy up to 4 bundles for the price of one, it might be a good idea to remove Ironclad et al. too while the bundle is running. The site is pretty much flooded with those giveaways, too. Plus, it would save the mods the trouble of removing all those single-key-from-bundles giveaways.
Comment has been collapsed.
Hm, Ironclad was a bad example then, sorry. But what about other bundle games ? If I remember correctly, they're not allowed to be given away while the bundle is being sold no matter where they come from - wouldn't it be easiest to just disable them temporarily, too ?

Nope min of valued at 1 points even thoses dran beta game Like DOTA 2 and Counter-Strike Global Offensive becuses there not even have price set to them they may end up become Free or Free to Play game and then there thoses Pre-Purchase Game should no be allow here.

Greetings community,
Due to The Ship being in the Indie Royal Graduation bundle, please do not submit these as giveaways until further notice. Per our policy, we do state that you may not submit individual "keys" from indie bundles, but this is not a loophole to submit the additional giftable copies received from the bundle. Each giftable copy of The Ship unlocks one more giftable copy, meaning that each bundle will give you a total of five.
These giveaways that started after the Indie Royal Graduation bundle went live are subject to immediate removal. Thank you for your cooperation.
-best regards
Update:
The Ship has been removed from the choices of available giveaways until after the sale is over. After that point, giveaways may resume for The Ship.
